That big storm didn't hit this far south, fortunately! However, we had to be in Buffalo the day it was supposed to hit so we went up a day early. Then we got stuck because all the routes home were closed. Fortunately we found a route that was still open in the other direction and took the long way home,via Rochester, before the second band hit! But that was nothing compared to what the people who live there endured. My niece and her husband had 8 feet where they live!

I hate winter. Yesterday was kind of weird. It would snow and have high winds for brief periods, but it did it all day. Here's a before and after picture with a 5 minute lapse. To boot, its 0 right now. I need to move south.

That's exactly what it's like here in the winter, Todd. I agree -- not fun.

My father mentioned (teasingly) the other day that the "wind chill" in his area of Florida was 53. Hardy har har.

I'm jealous KE! We're in for a blizzard tonight with 50mph winds, 25" of snow and coastal flooding It's not going to stop till Wednsday am! So much for our mild winter

So has it roared in yet Dave? We had just about 4 inches today, just enough to make our weekly trip to Buffalo slower than usual. But it's the last one for six weeks. Yay!

Not really! About an inch so far but it's very windy so when it does, it will! I was thinking about your massive storm you had earlier this year and decided I'm not going to complain one bit!
