Where will Paul McCartney be in the next 5 years?
« on: May 28, 2004, 02:02:08 PM »

I think Paul will have already retired from major tours as a  performer like his current one just getting underway even though still doing occasional live appearances afterward as well as possibly recording & releasing his final album of original material in the next five years before he retires from the music business for good as an artist.

A cottage in the Isle of Wight, if it's not too dear.

But he'll be doing something with music all of his life.

Haha, that would be great, Paul in the Isle of Whight makin' out with Yoko right before he goes to Japanese jail where he'll make music for the rest of his life. Ah, that would be ironic. I could see the adversements now, his new cd would be entitled "Live from Jail: The Greatest of Paul McCartney's Prison Years, featuring Yoko Ono"

He's already married to a woman that could quite possibly be worse than Yoko.

Paul and Yoko? Bah Hah! It just doesn't have the same ring as JohnandYoko does it? But neither does Paul and Heather. I think Paul would rather cut out his tongue rather than make out with Yoko! But it would be funny!

I predict Paul will be semi retired in the next five years from the music business after over 40 years since he won't be doing anymore major tours which I think his latest one will be his last except for occasional live appearances afterward while I expect possibly 2 more albums of original material from him before it's over!

Being new I was looking at old threads and just thought this one was funny - because it's about what Paul would be doing in 5 years and it is now OVER 5 years since it was posted.

Well, all I can say is - he isn't retired or semi-retired. :) He has released 3 albums of original material since it was posted(Chaos and Creation, Memory Almost Full and Electric Arguments).  He isn't in prison, Japanese or otherwise and he has neither made out with nor married Yoko(though they do seem to be getting along better).

Well, correct me if I’m wrong, maywitch, but would you agree that we have been passing through the Sea of Time?    ;)

Bingo!! Good one coming out of '04! ;D

The making out with Yoko thing.....oh dear God!

Um...I predict Paul will come to my county to play a concert within the next five years... Yeah, yeah, wishful thinking, but I'd like to see him again! :P

Always kinda weird to realize that somehow you ended up in what until fairly recently seemed like the distant future...

I recently realized that just five years from now we'll be in "the future" of the Back To The Future movies (2015). Isn't that bizarre?

I guess they should hurry up with those flying cars and skateboards, huh?  ;D

I always thought the world would be so much different when I was an adult but it's not really.
