Beatle news briefs: Beatle songs ring in the New Year in N.Y., Oklahoma

A BEATLE NEW YEAR: What's a party without the Beatles? And what's a New Year's party without celebrities doing Beatle songs? Justin Bieber took on "Let It Be," which he performed with Carlos Santana backing him on guitar. (See video at left.) As much as one wanted to cringe hearing Bieber sing the song, Santana's guitar made the song listenable. But Bieber wasn't the only one doing the Beatles in Times Square. Cee Lo Green sang "Imagine". But he changed the lyrics from "And no religion, too" to "And all religion is true." Comments on YouTube were extremely critical of both the revision and the sentiment.
