i like the killer...i think he got that name because he carried a gun and was considered dangerous...i always dug that song breathless but he can wail the hell out of a piano so anything by him is fine by me,him and fats domino are my favorite pianst...high school confidential is on my podcast.....he use to have the longest hair in show business,in the late 50s,he was rebelious and considered a risk to employ only because hwe was so wild and he use profanities,he once lit his piano on fire,i forget when that was but i seen it on a vid...he has played deuts with a few beatles and many,many others....he married his first cousin and it outraged britian and they sent him home...even america was shocked but his friends and people that knew him weren't too surprised...and everybody knows he was a sun records find...the stable of preformers that went thru sun records is totally awesome...there was carl perkins,jerry lee,johnny cash,elvis,roy orbison,charlie rich,orion and many others

carl perkins was hot and when he wrote blue suede shoes sam knew it was gonna be a hit,and as carl started touring he got into an auto accident which laid him up and that sneak sam phillips gave blue suede shoes to that poser.....what a blow to carl....carl was a great person and personal friends with george and ringo...her wasn't as close to mccartney or lennon but they all idolized him,george spoke the euology at his funeral and sang a song,he consoled the grieving widow...for alot of years carl played lead guitar in the johnny cash band...here was the big star in his own right hanging with his buddy and doing what they both loved to do...it is a pity that there are copyright laws because the groups of people that would play together is just to awesome to imagine...i went to sun records last time i was in nashville...i bought a sun records shirt with this logo...
i always dug their logo too....something country and down home about it....when you think about with country music none of the music we love would exsist...we'd all be listening to soul and jazz....not to say we don't already..i dig jazz too...dave brubeck,george shearing and others but i digress go check out the sun records tour...and buy a shirt....
