Quoted from Bobber
This site is about almost every girlfriend the Beatles had, some with pictures. Don't know if it's all true, could be. I assume that John kissed more women in his life than just Cynthia, Yoko and May, for instance.

Found this. Some online games on The Beatles.

Those Bealte-related games were great. I wish that they could also psot previous "baby you can name my song" sketches though. just for fun.
I really digged that mop-top of the pops one. I could play that one for awhile. Nice to see some of us made the Billboard top 100. Indy, softguitar, junior, blue meanie, and bobber who landed a spot on the top 5 in 4th place.

Well done. I'm not going to try and beat you. It'll take forever.

Mine is quite cliche, but it's the official website!
I think it's beautiful and well maintained. Makes me love the Beatles even more.
I even have some my own new Beatles sites (dedicated to or inspired by) here (http://www.expecto.net/beatnews) and here (http://www.follow-the-sun.org).
So what are yours? ;D
-
I'm afraid something similar has been done. It's not exactly listing your favorites, but we do have a thread in the Other Artists forum called 'All Links Beatles' where we basically suggest websites that fellow members mgiht find interesting. Perhaps, the existing thread is why you haven't been getting the expected feedback from our usually active members.
But since you asked so nicely ;-D. My favorite Beatles site has to be this one :-).

Plenty of found abound -- I hope that some of you, if you have the time, consider joining there.

Let me add this one:
Paul Live and Exclusive at Abbey Road
http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/aod/radio2_aod.shtml?radio2/r2_paulmccartney
In this very special programme, Paul returns to Studio 2 at Abbey Road, the room where all the Beatles records were made, for an intimate journey through his songwriting history, from his very first Beatles song to the work on his new album "Chaos & Creation In The Backyard".
Paul talks in depth to Mark Radcliffe, revealing his techniques and secrets and sharing stories of his writing partnership with John Lennon, his work with the Beatles and his solo career before moving on to a ground breaking solo live performance.
Aided and abetted by producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead, Travis) & using a selection of vintage instruments from his own collection (including the bass played by Bill Black on Elvis Presley's orginal recording of Heartbreak Hotel and the Mellotron & mixing desk used by the Beatles) Paul re-visits his back catalogue in new & revealing ways in front of an audience of just 64 people, including wife Heather, Fran Healy from Travis and Guy Chambers among others.
He'll be re-interpreting old songs, revealing new ones, playing some great cover versions & enlisting the audience's help in a demonstration of "in the moment" songwriting & arranging.
He'll also be showing us how Radio 2 inspired this particular burst of creativity by re-creating the ground breaking "A Different Perspective" TV ad version of "Band on the Run".

"http://www.los4.com is a great Beatles website, but it's in Spanish. But yeah, I recomment it. I love that site."
I don't know what's the matter with spanish... if it's about the guys.

Let's continue with sites in Romance Languages (do you speak portuguese?) a brazilian one. It's very interesting if you like the early years of the guys and their adventures:

Paul McCartney
"I liked Rick Nelson. I love 'Lonesome Town' ... it's a place we all know."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Elvis Presley
"If James Dean sang, he would sound just like Rick Nelson"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kris Kristopherson
"He was the crown prince of Rock N Roll"
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Linda Rondstat
"Rick Nelson's She Belongs To Me made me want to record in that Country Rock mode."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
John Fogerty
"He was Hollywood...but Rick made some of the best Rockabilly records ever. Equal to Sun Records."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fats Domino
"When I first met Ricky, we were with Lew Chudd on Imperial Records. Ricky was a little bitty kid; quiet, never said nothing...nice. The last summer I met him, he was the same way."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Roy Orbison
"I waited, and I'm sure Elvis did too, for each Ricky Nelson record...like we would a Chuck Berry record or a Fats Domino record, to see what was going on. I used to say to some of the guys that Ricky Nelson learned to sing on million selling records."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bob Dylan
"Ricky Nelson did a lot of my songs; now I'm gonna do one of his. I have a great deal of respect for him." (introducing Lonesome Town)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Sam Phillips; Founder Sun Records
"Most rockers rocked pretty good, including those on Sun Records like Elvis, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee. But a little ol' boy Ricky Nelson came on the TV screen and really got right with it in a really understanding way but believe me, he really got his message over. He was probably one of the most fluid sounding rockers that could give you a good rocker and make it sound like a ballad...but make your feet wanna move and for that reason, we're all the better for hearing Ricky Nelson."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Carl Perkins
"I only know two cats in this business that really had it all; Elvis was one of those guys, the other was Ricky Nelson. There was a difference in those two guys though. Elvis moved...Ricky never had to; he stood flat footed and captivated his audience with his good looks. We grew up with him; those who didn't missed something. History books are gonna have to say that he played a big role in Rock 'n' Roll music.... and he did it his way."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jerry Lee Lewis
"I predicted he'd be really big, just before he hit it with his rock 'n' roll, rockabilly style. He was good. Ricky was really good and of course, he had great backing. He always had a great band."

Hope you don't mind me posting my own site's link: http://www.beatlesbible.com
The site launched in March 08, and has been growing steadily. I'm going to keep chipping away at it - I've got articles on most of the songs, and after that I'm tackling people, places, features and anything else that occurs to me. Then I'll start properly on the day-after-day blog. I have a lot to do!

There is quite a lot of Beatles material on my two sites, including articles, poems and stories by John Lennon, Paul's letters to me describing them backing Janice the steipper, their first trip to Hamburg and his trip to Paris with John. There is also Brian Epstein's report on the Beatles first recording session and their first American trip, plus pieces from George and Ringo, in addition to hundreds of other features and a lot of photos people haven't seen before.
My two sites are:

It's an excellent resource. Needs to have a couple of updates, though!
I like Graham. He seems to be the only person who cares that Ringo's still releasing live albums :)

A while back, I came across a web page that talked in detail about George's development as a songwriter during his Beatles days. It had different sections for different time periods and went over each of his songs (I believed it referred to his songs as "Harrisongs"). It also talked about George's mindset and delved into why he wrote what he wrote and why he decided to take periodic breaks from songwriting. The author of the web site concludes with the proposal that at the end of his days as a Beatle, George's songs were on the same level of those of Paul and John.
My problem is I can't find this web page anymore! Has anyone heard of the site that I'm referring to? I'd love to read through it again, but unfortunately all of my searches for it have been fruitless. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Harrisongs was the publicity company that George put up for his own songs, I believe from 1968 onwards. Before that, his songs were published at Northern Songs, like almost all of Paul and John's stuff.

Check out this incredible site! It has every Beatles' song lyrics, chords, and guitar tablature so you can play and sing along. It is really easy to use, and has a great system in place to keep only the most accurate tabs and lyrics up.

I visited 2 years ago and loved my day there including, Matthew St, The Cavern, Empire, the museum and of course my 1st visit to the mighty Anfield. An honour to finally stand in the Kop after seeing it on my bedroom wall as posters (when I was young) and on TV for so many years. Hope to return to Liverpool with me Beatles band one day. :)

anyone seen this amazing site , i have known it for several years, it details unusual unexplained noises you can hear on Beatles music,
1) Flubbed lyrics/notes/beats/etc.
2) Sounds other than the instruments/vocals/etc.,
such as squeaks or clicks
3) Vocal direction, such as counting, or some other
means of vocal tagging.
This does not include such count-ins as "I Saw Her
Standing There"
4) Mixing errors, such as places where a track was
brought up at the wrong time.
5) Vocal comments/jokes/etc. that were not intended for direction.
i love it

good place to start is the song indexes.

hey i found a great t shirt that says "I am the Walrus." i immediately bought it because it's different from the usual touristy beatles shirts out there. and it was only 12 pounds or 2 for 20.

We're all fans. Have any of you made fan pages? Or know of any?
I saw an anti-Beatles page the other day which inspired me to make a fan page: www.beatles-fans.webs.com.
So, if you know of any? Post 'em here!

Here's one: http://www.areddy.net/beatles_suck/
It's probably Yoko in disguise.

Yes, Pilzkopf, that's the one that I saw.
Eh, it digusted me. Nevertheless, I'd suggest that we don't send the guy hate mail.
It's obvious he needs attention. -~-
-
Well, the latest mail he's showing is datd 2001, so he probably hasn't updated his site in 8 years or so. I don't find it disgusting, just kind of amusing. It's actually a compliment. When a band is so big that it has to have an anti-fan site, you know that band isn't going to disappear anytime soon.

I've got a couple of links which are quite topical:
For anyone who doesn't know, on Radio 2 (UK) this weekend they've got a big Beatles Request weekend which should be worth listening into. If you're not in the UK, should be able to tune in online http://www.bbc.co.uk (http://www.bbc.co.uk)
And as if that wasn't kind enough of me, I've found another little gem of a site called http://www.art247.com (http://www.art247.com) They have some great Beatles prints and canvases for sale, but it's the banner at the top of their home page which really caught my eye!
No need to thank me all at once ;-)
-
Hi, I'm new here. Not sure I'll be back but just wanted to let you fellow Beatles nuts know about a very cool link. This guy makes excellent how-to-play videos of many Beatles songs on guitar. This is the best source of learning that I've found. He has four DVD's. The newer ones are a little better productions (4 best, 1 simplest). Anyway, enjoy. I think I'll mention this in the Musicians section too.

Welcome to the forum, Minning Around! Yes, Rob Taylor's DVDs are the best. He teaches the songs note-for-note..."to a tee.". I've purchased his DVDs as he released them over the past three years.

After many hours, days, weeks and months of preparations we have finally managed to open a new Beatles community for fans all around the globe. We would like the fellow Beatlemaniacs to Come Together and join us.
The forum contains hundreds of unseen high quality photos, reviews of the books on the Beatles and interesting facts.
Any new member means a lot to us and is greatly appreciated :)

I was compiling information for an essay I'm doing, and stumbled across this website: http://starling.rinet.ru/music/index.htm (http://starling.rinet.ru/music/index.htm)
I was originally pulled onto there when searching for Kinks info, but ended up looking at the Beatles section two. This guys a tough critic, but makes some great points, especially about the Beatles as a band. It's not for the faint-hearted, if you don't like reading too much criticism, but he has an important opinon on the way people perceive The Beatles these days...
So hopefully not too irrelevant. Loads of stuff on loads of bands, not just our boys.

I do. Obviously your main goal to join in here is to sell your stuff. This is the third or fourth time you have posted about this so called rare dvd. Once is enough and I moved it to the proper place. Please stop these actions now.
