 I was watching this video the other day, it is a conversation between Graham Nash and Rita Coolidge, early on she tells a story of how she wrote the bulk off two great songs Layla and Superstar but received no credit for either song.

They put the blame on Robert Stigwood for Layla but the real problem seems to be Jim Gordon.

The strange thing is she didn't get a lawyer instead of just accepting the situation.

That's interesting. It does sound dodgy of Jim Gordon if her story is accurate. Stigwood seems to be doing what managers have done for decades; scaring off problems. Can't find anything on the song she says she wrote with Gordon that formed the basis of the Layla reprise.
