I noticed the George subforum had one of these, and was postively shocked to discover that Macca did not! Alright people, I love Paul, you love Paul (why else would you be on the part of the forum dedicated to him? ;D ) So go on and share with us why it is you love Mr. McCartney.

Also post "You Know You're A Fan When..." stories in here.

This thread..........OH!
*Penny Lane is awed and speechless*
-
I love him because he was the one who made me discover who Jimmy McCulloch was. If I hadn't heard of Paul McCartney or The Beatles, I wouldn't of heard of J and I shudder to think where I would be now in life :P
-
Come on people! Guess I'll help get things rolling.
-Because he managed to look absolutely amazing AND sing, play instruments, and write songs ridiculously well.
-
YES! I love him because he is, (IMO) perfect! Or at least as close as can be, there is really nothing wrong with him! And he is utterly georgus *sigh*
-
Because he wrote my favourite song, Hey Jude.
-
Why We Love Paul
Because ... ;)
-
Because he left.
Because he is still alive.
By Marta.
Because Linda.
Because Eleanor Rigby.
Because of his eyes.
I will continue later ...the computer's technical came ... ::)
-
how could you not love that droopy expression he had!
his eyes amaze me, they're so different yet pretty.
his voice is very recognizable and soothing.
and he could basically play every instrument.
it's astonishing how he wrote that many innovative songs in that many decades in a row.
Paul is my second favorite.
(btw, where'd that 'DOOOOOOOO' thing come from? i've never heard paul say that)
-
how could you not love that droopy expression he had!
Those bedroom eyes...... like he just woke up.... and he's like rolling over from waking up and smiling at you.... *SIGH*
(I have problems)
-

(I have problems)
If YOU have problems, then I don't want to know what the hell is wrong with me. ha2ha ;) We're all mad. ;D
I COULD list why I love Paul, but it'd just be a long, dumb list. Simply put, I love Paul, he's just like air, and I can't live without air!
-

Hehe, at least I'm not alone!
And thats a perfect way to put it! He's like air! lol.
-
-Because of that 'rock' voice he has in songs like Oh! Darling, Why Don't We Do It In the Road?, I'm Down, etc. I love that voice :D
-
Because he wrote so many beautiful love songs, and the fact that his voice is so versitle it could be incredibly sweet and soothing or very rockerish, his voice is amazing! Also, he's so cute! How can one man be so cute??? His cuteness makes me forget about George sometimes LOL. Also the fact that he seemed like a very loving husband to Linda and a great dad to his kids.
-
Here's MY long dumb list (I think it's very intelligent, actually) This is somewhat in chronological order.
1. Because his voice was perfect on every song he sang
2. Because he inspired me to learn how to play guitar
3. Because he wrote some of my most favorite songs ever
4. Because he expanded rock music to include dance hall and other unexpected genres
5. Because he is nice to kids and dogs
6. Because he wrote songs for kids
7. Because when all the other Beatles were busy bashing each other, he took the high road
8. Because he was not ashamed to be sentimental, even when it wasn't cool
9. Because he wasn't embarrassed to talk about how much he loved and missed John
10. Because he has always been proud of The Beatles and has worked hard to preserve their legacy
in other words, "because because because because because...because of the wonderful things he does" :)
-
Cass, you included everything I wanted to post.
What more can I say. I'm just in awe of how talented he is.
-
And how could I forget, because he's the most effin' gorgeous man I ever laid eyes on!
I'm guessing you probably want to second me on that one too, eroz ;)
-
And how could I forget, because he's the most effin' gorgeous man I ever laid eyes on!
;yes
Second that!
-
And how could I forget, because he's the most effin' gorgeous man I ever laid eyes on!
I'm guessing you probably want to second me on that one too, eroz ;)
What on earth would make you think that?
I assure you I only respect him for his talent. I've never even noticed how cute he is or his angelic face or his incredible eyes or his... uhm... other assets.
Yeah, I only appreciate him for his musical talent!
-
Yes, I only love him for his talent too...
Aw, who am I kidding?
-
i love his sense of humor! and i agree with georgeharrisonluver, his voice is versatile! like in 'you never give me your money'
he's so memorable and i just love his eyes, they're different ;D
-
-Because he wears a tight black T-shirt mighty well in Help! ;)
-
-Because he wears a tight black T-shirt mighty well in Help! ;)
OMG!!!!! YESS!!!!!! ;yes
-
-Because 40 years later, he's still got teenage girls crazy over him!
-
-Because of how FREAKIN' ADORABLE he looks in the 'We Can Work It Out' and 'Daytripper' promo vids

-Because of his voice in the slower songs. How can you not melt?
-
^ I know, its absolutly gorgeous
-
-Because of his voice in the slower songs. How can you not melt?
yeah, i always say that!
especially in 'and i love her' :D
-
Because in "Till there Was You" He says he never "Sawr" Them ringing <3 Hehe. It's so adorable.
-
Because in "Till there Was You" He says he never "Sawr" Them ringing <3 Hehe. It's so adorable.
Ahh I LOVE that! Also how in the same song he says, "a t'all" instead of "at all". Way to play up the British accent ;D
-

Totally lol. But, his is so sexy it's made to be played up hehe.
-
-Because 40 years later, he's still got teenage girls crazy over him!
Oh, seriously. Paulie is a chick magnet for the ages. LOL!
-
Because, seriously, just watch this video, how can you NOT love him?

-
^ *screams really high pitched* I love that!!!! And apparently you do too, hehe.
-
^^that part is adorable, I have to admit! :D
-
-Because he's a vegetarian who campaigns for animal rights!
-
-Because his voice in 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road?'=sex

Oh God yes.... :o ;)
-
Because in this interview he's so funny!

-
-Because he somehow managed to look gorgeous with long greasy hair and a crazy beard
-
Cuz he's a sex bomb.
(Srry I know I have problems! Hehe)
-
Because he's the father of my favorite fashion designer! (Ironically enough, Stella's been my favorite designer WAY before I was into the Beatles haha)
-
Because now I get to watch AHDN and Help! whenever I babysit these two kids because the little girl thinks he's cute ;D
-
I'm glad my Why We Love George thread expanded to all 4 Beatles.
I love Paul for one simple reason. His voice! I love it! Listen to 'The Girl Is Mine' on Thriller. Just the way he sings, "I don't believe it." Gets me everytime!
-
Because even though I've mentioned 'Yesterday' once, goodness, the Anthology version of that song is so beautiful! No strings and I think Paul's voice has much more emotion in that take.
-
-Because of how FREAKIN' ADORABLE he looks in the 'We Can Work It Out' and 'Daytripper' promo vids (I pretty much watch them everday to get my Paul fix; not that my boyfriend fully appreciates that ;) )
Haha. Your BF will get used to it. My husband did....bwahahahahaha.
-
Cuz he's a sex bomb.
(Srry I know I have problems! Hehe)
Paul McCartney is my SEX BOMB (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVEIhGcBLlk#normal)
Paul has his own theme song. How convenient. ;D
-
^^^ Isn't that delish! ;D ;) I didn't even know that video existed, I guess I'm good like that ha2ha
-
-Because he wrote or cowrote 99.9% of my favorite songs!
-
-Because he's freakin' Paul McCartney!!
-
-Because (not ALL of course) the majority of his songs are upbeat/optimistic and that's the way I like to live my life
On a side note, it REALLY makes my blood boil when people say they don't like Paul because he was too 'sappy'. Or that John was clearly the better songwriter because his songs were 'deep' and 'emotional'. Pardon me for saying, but it's not healthy to be depressed! Also, happiness is an 'emotion' if I'm not mistaken, so 'Good Day Sunshine' could be considered emotional in my book!
Sorry for that mini rant there, but I was on another forum and there was a thread entitled, 'Who's your favorite Beatle' and I saw many responses doing exactly what I just said I disliked. I didn't even bother to post, I would have ranted too much ;D
-
- I can't help it, I freaking love Paul's voice in 'And I love her', 'Helter Skelter', and 'You never give me your money'!
-And I have to admit, out of the four, Paul is the best at singing and guitar. (George comes in second ;))
The guitar solos in 'Taxman' and 'Good morning, Good morning' was really wild and awesome.
-

I get p*ssed off when people dismiss Paul as merely a fluff songwriter. People who say that about his music just do not "get" him and his style.
Besides, can you imagine if both Paul and John were "depressing" songwriters? Egads, the Beatles would've turned into an emo group, LOL. What I loved about their partnership was that they were so different and yet they helped to balance each other out.
-
-Because his vocal range is INSANE! He sounds like a completely different person in so many songs. For two really good examples, listen to 'You Never Give Me Your Money' and the anthology version of 'Why Don't We Do It In The Road' (posted here for your convienence ;D)
The Beatles- You Never Give Me Your Money (HQ) (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EKEos6exxs8#normal)

Haha. Your BF will get used to it. My husband did....bwahahahahaha.
My BF (now ex..) did!! He knew I was a Beatle fan for like forever. So when he asked me out he did it as George Harrison ;) Not exactly Paul, but close enough ;D ;D
-
-Because you just realized he sings lead on 32 out of your 44 most played Beatles songs. I'm assuming this means something ha2ha
-
because he keeps the Beatles spirit alive with his live shows. :) and his tributes to John, George and Linda :)
-
-Because the base line in "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is so supremely awesome
-
-Because he's so frickin' adorable in all these clips!

I was just going to post that! The fact that Paul produced and wrote that short film, 'Rupert and the frog' is pretty cool, besides, he had kids and I bet they were psyched at the time! 2:24 of the video gave me goosebumps, the music and the beautiful animation. :)

Anyone else notice how his basic mannerisms and way of speaking hasn't changed that much after all these years? Silly PIDers!! ha2ha

Paul Mccartney-Goodbye (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eyet4WxAmpM#normal)
This has got to be one of the PRETTIEST Paul songs EVER. Why has he not officially released this?! *shakes fist at the sky*
IMO, this would fit in somewhere in the White Album, maybe along with his other soft ballads like "Blackbird" and "Mother Nature's Son."
Anyway, I love Paul because he can write beautiful, sweet melodies like nobody's business!!

If you have problems ... I'd hate to find out what I have!
REASONS I AM MADLY IN LOVE WITH PAUL:
1. His gorgeous big deep brown innocent puppy dog eyes ... SWOON!
2. His GORGEOUS smile, he smiles like a little kid ... sooo cute!
3. I love the way he bobs and moves his head around when he sings ... gorgeous <3
4. He's just ... so ... so ... PAUL!
Paulie ...

No offense to George :)
Yes, I feel a bit mean to all the other Beatles when I obsess madly about Paul ... but how can I not? *faints*
-
-Because he's managed to get five pages of love!
-
-Because he makes me really, really want to be the girl he 'plays' during this song

In December 1995, Linda was diagnosed with breast cancer – the same disease that killed Paul’s mother when he was a teenager. She faced her illness bravely, refusing “to surrender her smile, or her spirit” as the cancer spread.
They flew to their family ranch in Arizona in April 1998. This time Linda would not return to England. She died cradled in her husband’s arms. He held her throughout that last night, whispering gently. “You’re up on your beautiful Appaloosa stallion. It’s a fine spring day, we’re riding through the woods. The bluebells are all out and the sky is clear blue.” The children gave their mother one last hug and kiss about 5 a.m., and then she was gone.
McCartney was devastated by her death. “This is a total heartbreak for my family,” he said in statement a few days later. “Linda was, and still is, the love of my life . ”
-Because what Paul said to Linda as he held her is so wonderfully sweet and it made me cry a little. :'(
-
-Because what Paul said to Linda as he held her is so wonderfully sweet and it made me cry a little. :'(
That makes me so sad ... and I also wish I was Linda :(
Er, not the dying bit of course. The bit where she was married to Paulie :)
-
-Because he makes me really, really want to be the girl he 'plays' during this song
Another Girl- The Beatles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_ymbkYYA6I#normal)
And that is so true! The first time I watched this movie I was so mad and sad in that scene! I was sitting next to a pillow and I was punching it mercilessly.
*DIE, GUITAR GIRL! DIE!*
I always skip that scene, then I go back to see Paul in jeans :) I have to admit, he has a very nice rear end!
Oh, and that 'You've Got To Hide Your Love Away' scene ... I just die when he winks :(
That girl isn't even pretty! And she doesn't even appreciate that the Sex God just winked at her!
-
-Because I love how his speaking voice is so sweet and unassuming sounding, but then he kicks into a rocker like this:

He's so BOUNCY! (and adorable, and sexy ... at the same time. Which you think wouldn't make sense, but with Paul it does. Which is another reason why I love him :))
-
And also, in the Wings performance, I laughed.
"Come on, give em a quick rub. Oooherr."
Lol! (although not particularly sexy :( lol)

This. Completely. My family thinks I'm crazy for loving all these 'older' guys (a.k.a The Beatles). I don't care if they're old. I love them. Paul still looks great, and when I see him, I can't stop looking! ha2ha

-
Because his talent is one of a kind. :) (And he had the best eyebrows ;D )
-Because he makes me really, really want to be the girl he 'plays' during this song
Another Girl- The Beatles (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E_ymbkYYA6I#normal)
Oh Paul is really kind of sexy in that one. :) The tight black t shirt and tight jeans? I've always loved this bit in Help!(You know he's got kind of surprisingly broad shoulders, he was no John Cena--thank god;) - not bad. Yah. BUT...what I love most is when he's playing Guitar Girl and at one point he makes a sort of shocked "oops face". For the longest time I wondered why, then I noticed that he had reached his arm up into the air and then moved it back down to play her and when he did that, because he wasn't looking, he accidently touched her...erm...chest area. :) His fingers just about barely brushed against her but that's what the "oops face" was for and I think that's just so adorable.
-
Because he takes sort of "nonsensical" songs and makes them great by either:
Singing incredibly:

I don't know if this should go here(I didn't notice a thread specifically for video's) but I found this interesting youtube video about Wings. It was a report done about Wing's 1976 tour and it's interesting to see how things were viewed at the time as opposed to how they have come to be viewed in light of John Lennon's murder. Because he always has and still does rock doing difference accents(like this Irish one).
I was watching some old Beatle documentaries recently and even back when he was little more than a kid he was always doing different voices and accents and he does them really really well. And as the dirty joke shows, he still does great accents. :)

I looked it up, because I was curious, and I was slightly shocked to see that John is the tallest! 5 ft. 11 inches
George and Paul are the exact same in height, and Ringo is 5 ft. 8 inches. :P
But yes, Paul's height is very attractive. 8)

Where did you look that up? I've always thought that Paul was the tallest. I looked it up on IMDB before and it says Paul is taller than John.
I thought John was the tallest, but my mom was even Beatle wise enough to tell me "No Paul's the tallest!" lol That was when I first started liking them, and she's the Beatle expert! ha2ha
-
^^I think that John and Paul were the same height (or Paul having a VERY small advantage over John) during Beatlemania, but I'm pretty sure once John got into heavier drugs/Yoko's crazy diet he shrunk. I'm pretty sure Paul looks taller during Let It Be.

I love how he is unintentionally adorable, whether he is the tallest or the shortest. ha2ha
-
I can't remember what I was reading recently, but it actually made a point of saying "Paul was slightly taller than the other Beatles". I wish I could remember where it was, it wasn't a Paul related thing but a general Beatles-related thing. But in any case, it's obvious that if one of those three(meaning everyone but Ringo who was unarguably the shortest) was taller than the others it definitely was NOT John. He frequently looks not only shorter than Paul but shorter than George, once George reached his full height. I can fully believe Paul and George were the same height but John was definitely not taller than them. If anything I could believe George and Paul were 5 ft 11 and John was 5 ft 10.
But I wouldn't trust any specific heights I read on the internet, if only because it's so hard to get an accurate height for celebrities. I just look at them all relative to each other(taking into account camera angles, etc because sometimes certain things can make your eyes play tricks on you, like the background and so on).

OK, so I actually have been thinking about creating a topic for this, and then I saw the new "You Know You're A John Fan When.." thread and decided to finally make it! There are a lot of times I wanted to post something, but they wouldn't really fit in the "You Know You're A Beatles Fan When..." thread, so I figured Paul needed his own!
And thus, I will repost this:
When in another book you read (literally just read this part haha) there is a character named Paul, and you already picture him like Paul McCartney. but then you read this:
"Apparently, his mother had meant to name him after a heroic uncle, a spy supposedly, who died in World War II, but his father, Robbie, meant to name him after Paul McCartney".
This, of course, leads you certainly picture the character like Paul, and be really happy.

Because of the way he so obviously loved Martha:
"‘She was a dear pet of mine. I remember John being amazed to see me being so loving to an animal. He said, “I’ve never seen you like this before”. I’ve since thought, you know, he wouldn’t have. It’s only when you’re cuddling around with a dog that you’re in the mode, and she was a very cuddly dog."

I love Paul because his harmonies in "I Don't Want To Spoil The Party" are so beautiful.

^ LOL, that's just perfect.
Here's an article for us to enjoy:
"In praise of... Paul McCartney"
At 16 he wrote of being an elderly 64, but at 67 Paul McCartney is still enjoying the spotlight – as well as a command of his vocal cords which makes for a remarkable contrast with croaking contemporaries such as Bob Dylan. Just as Hamburg starts belatedly taking pride in its role in Beatles history, we report today on Big Mac's return to the city to kick off his European tour. For decades Sir Paul languished in the shadow of the posthumously deified John Lennon. The fact that he obviously minded so much didn't much help – and nor, admittedly, did some of his solo records. He deserves, however, to be celebrated as the most fabulous songwriter in the Fab Four. An effortlessly fluent lyricist ("Of every head he's had the pleasure to know") and on occasion a poet (Eleanor Rigby), his greatest gifts are in the harmonic department. Any musician delving into the McCartney back catalogue – from the seemingly straightforward All My Loving to the instantly distinctive I Will – finds quirky key shifts and playful surprise swaps between major and minor. His classical counterpart would be Schubert, with whom he shares the ability to weave complex melodies which nonetheless feel so natural that they sound discovered as opposed to invented. Indeed, the ballad Yesterday – still the world's most-covered track – entered the McCartney brain in such perfect form that for a time he believed he must have heard it somewhere before. We still need him, even if there's no need to feed him, now he's beyond 64.

^^Haha the music video is SO cheesey XD
It is very much of it's time. Back To The Egg was an attempt by Paul to embrace punk and new wave, and the video shows it with it's hand-held anti-production values, the attempt to capture some kind of frentic energy, the shades and the jumping about. Paul even does a Johny Rotten wide-eyed stare at the camera. And the album is full of very short tracks, punks reaction to prog rock epics. Though Denny should have followed Paul's example and lost the mullet.
Good on him for trying. Other bands tried to ignore the trend and most sunk without a trace. At least Paul gives things a go, but unfortunately at 37 he's just way too old. (though punk heroes The Stranglers managed to convince people they were much younger than they were). This is the album that made me stop buying Paul McCArtney products. The music (too me) sounds plodding, though Spin It On isn't too bad. New Wave is a kids thing. But again, hats off to the man for at least trying. At least he wasn't turning out overly slick, insipid coffee table music like Lennon's Double Fantasy (which also made me decide to never buy another Lennon product again.)
-
Paul's interest in punk may have had to do with daughter Heather, who at the time was very into the punk scene. I think she even dated Billy Idol a few years later.
-
Okay guys, sorry to barge in but I have a question that only Paul fans can answer, so I figured this was the best thread to ask in! :D
I haven't actually listened to any Wings properly, and I'm considering buying an album. Is there any particular one I should choose as a first Wings album? I don't care how far along their career it is, I'd rather hear what the fans consider the best, rather than what came first. I'm considering Red Rose Speedway or Band On The Run. Am I on the right lines, Paulie fans? :P

Yup, true. My first whiff of Paul's Hollywood Bowl rumor was originally sourced from Perez Hilton...ahhhhhhhhh. LOL.
You know you're a Paul fan if you're unwilling to discuss Paul with strangers because you KNOW you tend to get "verbal diarrhea" about him. :-[

Electric Arguments is sooo good...I think it's my favorite Paul solo album, too bad more people don't know about the Fireman. And Dance 'Til We're High is a great song!!

I'm definitely gonna check out some Paulie. And today I can actually contribute to this thread...
You know you're a Paul fan when you drive past a place called "Mac's Truck Sale" and you automatically misread it for "Macca's Truck Sale" and laugh at the image of Paul in farmers clothes sitting in a tractor with a silly grin on his face. ha2ha

-
^^It DOES sound like somthing he would do...

Your post reminded me of this music vid:
Say Say Say by Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLEhh_XpJ-0#normal)
Mac and Jack! :)
P.S. Apologies to IW in advance cuz of Paul's hair...it's a bit on the mullety side. ha2ha But he doesn't look too bad.
-
Ah, you've gotta love Paul and his
mullet very contemporary hairstyle. ;D

LOL, that's our Paul. Always on the cutting edge of hair fashions! ha2ha
And IW, you have to admit...as much as you hate his mullets, at least he isn't totally bald! LOL.

Oh it's OK, I"ve finally learned to tolerate The Mullet after multiple viewings of Rock Show ;D

LOL........ That made me laugh. Funny you should mention Rockshow; I just finished watching it again today.
Glad you've come to terms with The Mullet. Is it just me or is Paulie growing out his hair again these days??
-
^I do hope so, I prefer it a little longer actually
-
I just bought a used version of an old Paulie documentary called In the World Tonight, which chronicles the making of Flaming Pie. It's really lovely and fun to watch!
Here's part of it:
Paul McCartney In the World Tonight 3_7 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6a6ZVVWX9gM#normal)
Fast forward to around 3:36 if you want to hear Paul trying to do a "sleazy" pick up, it really made me laugh. He sounds very Monty Pythonesque when he tries to do a female voice.
-
^^Haha I've seen that before, I love it ;D
-
^ You're wonderful. ;D
Today I confessed in the chatroom that I purposely avoided my friends at a record shop cuz I didn't want them to see me buying more Paul crap. They know I'm addicted and I didn't want to add fuel to the fire although they really are good friends. :-[ :-X 2ch
Plus, you know you're a Paul fan when you play 20 Questions with your friends, they decide to guess "Paul McCartney" right off the bat when you give clues. >:( ha2ha
-
^^Hahaha that's amazing!
You know you're a Paul fan when in group shots of The Beatles, you're eyes IMMEDIATELY go to wherever Paul is, regardless of how attractive the others look, or even if Paul is really small in the background somewhere.
So, SO guilty of that...
-
^ Yes, I do know what you're talking about. ;)
-
You know you're a Paul fan when he appears in your dreams... frequently. Even sometimes just in the background somewhere totally unrelated to the rest of the dream ha2ha
-
^^ Yup, been there countless of numbers of times. Actually, he appeared in a dream of mine a few days ago. I believe it involved a chair... *cough**cough*
-
You know you're a Paul fan when you can look at a gif of him singing and "hear" that perfomance as you watch it.
This especially happens to me with a gif I made of my favorite perfomance of "Yesterday".
-
You know your a fan when you are counting the days until you see him in concert.
-
When he keeps appearing in your thoughts when trying to meditate/sleep
When you can appreciate Bip Bop
When people look at you when he's mentioned.
-
Hey Paulie lovers! I just wanted to let y'all know that I DID follow your advice on Paul's post-Beatles stuff, and today I bought Band On The Run and McCartney. Just finished listening to Band On The Run... not only was it great, but I find the more I hear everyone's post-Beatles stuff, the more I can see the individual personalities and quirks each Beatle brings to his own music. It puts them all in perspective, and you can see how much of each person's personality comes across in The Beatles. Thanks for the advice, girls! I'm now officially something of a proper Paul/Wings fan! :D
xxx
-
^^SUCCESS!
-
JGD, I'm glad you enjoy his music. :D
You know you're a fan when you go to the store only to buy the newspaper, since it contains a review of Paul's concert!
-
I think you Paulie fans can consider yourselves partially responsible for twisting my arm into exploring Paul's music! I've been listening to "Band On The Run" and "McCartney" all day today. I LOVE "Bluebird"! Even makes me blush a little... shame Paul's never gonna twist my arm THAT way, eh? *Sits on John's lap* ;)
xxx
-
^^Bluebird was one of my first favorites! Ahhh the way how in the chorus he sings, "Yeah, yeah, yeah" makes me all gooey inside.
-
I really like the "McCartney" album too. My dad was banging on about "Maybe I'm Amazed", and I can really see why! That vocal rundown... bless him. Even though I praise him all the time, I still manage to underestimate Paulie's voice. :)

And the only way to cure this is to listen to more of it :)

I concur

The way he sings "Things We Said Today."
The way his winks in Help!
When you imagine yourself next to Paul in Help! (guilty)
When you make Paul the male character and yourself the female character in a novel. (guilty)
Meh, just look at my avatar. How can you NOT resist that?!

x2. I am SOOO guilty of that.

When you imagine you're dating "Beatlemania" Paul. (guilty) (No flaming or teasing please)

You know you're a Paul fan if you have to remind Emmi that she's not really married to Paul...cuz you are. (Don't hurt me!)
ha2ha ;)

ha2ha ;)
*puts hand over mouth* *scoffs* Come on! I have ONE guy I obsess over (if Mrs. L comes in here, please don't burst my bubble), and you have.. *counts on fingers* At least three I can think of right now! LOL. AND you have a husband! AND you even said you'd give him over to me! (ends rant).
Because he's so pretty....
-
LOL, Emmi...I'm only playing with you. ;)
I know Paul really belongs to you...or Emily...or actually, I'm not sure. Paul's popular these days! ha2ha You guys can have him. I'll be content (sort of) to drool over him from afar. :P
BTW, my real life husband thinks I'm deluded for thinking Paul's sexy. PSSSSH. He doesn't think Paul has the sex appeal of say, Mick Jagger.
-
You know when your a fan when you argue who likes Paul most. HE'S MINE!
-
This is gonna get good! Where's the popcorn?

What the?! :o
Where's the Duck and Cover video when we need it? LOL.
-
You know you're a fan when you want to go hug the wax figure of Paul in Madame Tussaud's in London. (guilty)
-
when you're looking through some of your old drawings and school stuff you did when you were a kid and you find a piece of paper with Hannah McCartney written all over it. I had forgotten that Paul was my favorite back when I was seven ;D
-
*has finger on the "Paul is mine" missile button*
*yanks it away* MINE! *looks at button* FALSE ALARM! It's only an easy button ;) (Not to say that Paul was easy....)
And I want the Paul Is Mine bat!! grr
You know your a fan when Paul is the background on your computer at home, computer at school, and on your cellphone.
-
My avatar is my background on my laptop.
When you take away Paul from Emmi. (Kidding) Paul is mine....in my imagination!
When you love his voice in "A Taste of Honey". (guilty as charged)
-
You guys are so funny, makes me laugh anytime I read this forum :)
You know you're a fan when you secretly make Paul your desktop on the laptops at school even though you're suppose to keep the default background (stupid twit teachers!).
When ever you see the name 'Paul' on ANYTHING - a book, a movie - I saw it today on a music book 'Paul Lavender' - you have a spasm and get told off by the teacher :-[
Whenever anybody says anything to do with the Beatles everybody looks at you.
Music teacher: "So we're going to start a music project on bands--"
Me and my friend: "WE BAGS THE BEATLES!"
x (:
-
Hello again Paul lovers! Although I'm not Macca-obsessed like you girls are (I still love Johnny!) I may have a contribution...
You know you're a Paul fan when you go out food shopping and your friend asks if he can look for a DVD in HMV on the way, and upon going in, he doesn't buy his DVD, but you buy two Wings albums out of nowhere, forcing you to get out more cash for your food shopping. ;D
So yes, I seem to be loving Wings more and more these days! I bought "Wild Life" and "Red Rose Speedway".

You love how offended Paul gets when he gets asked if he plucks his eyebrows. ha2ha
The Beatles interview with Dusty Springfield (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Vl1OH2dXwg#lq-lq2-hq)
Paul is too lovable. :)
-
You know you're a Paul fan when you're having a tender moment with the person you like, and they actually say "you're amazing"... and you instantly get "Maybe I'm Amazed" in your head, rather than a nice response. Well done me! :-X

God, I would kill for eyebrows like his! :)
Loving John here. How did you think of the name The Beatles? I just thought of it. And his cute little laugh after the Quarrymen ;D
Also is it just me or does Paul look gorgeous in this video? <swoon>

Paul looks georgeous in any video. *swoon*

PAUL! We can see where that hand is going! :-\
Anyway... You know you're a Paul fan when you're watching his performance at Isle Of Wight festival, and when he jokingly tells the crowd that the noise is giving him a heart attack, you actually want him to sit down and have a rest! Paulie's one of the last remaining Beatles, he needs to look after himself now that he's older! Honestly Paul, pop a couple of Rennies and have a nap. The audience won't mind. ha2ha

I love Paul because...
-He can always put me in a good mood no matter what with his music, voice, and adorableness.
-He truly has a love for what he does. Here he is still the best ever and still touring/recording at 68!
-He also truly loved his wife, children, and the other three Beatles.
-He is a decent man, and always has been. He's not like some other famous people who are stuck up. He's funny, charming, and genuine.
-He wrote my favorite songs ever.
-He and the rest of the Beatles were an inspiration for me to play the guitar myself.
-His eyes, smile, and every other physical trait!
You know you're a Paul fan when...
-His face takes up your whole Windows screen.
-You spent days watching his tour DVDs and Beatle movies to celebrate his birthday.
-You are willing to become broke so you can go to a concert.
-You've lost count of the number of pictures you have.
-
You know you're a Paul fan if his birthday feels like a holiday, and you even get excited when a radio DJ plays a Beatles song and wishes Paul a happy birthday!
-
You know you're a Paul fan if you have a Paul scrapbook. ;)
You know you're a Paul fan if you have images of him for your avatar or your siggy line!
-
I love Paul because that clip from the Anthology that's in Penny Lane's sig is the most adorable thing ever. ;)
And that video that sgt. peppie posted is great! Both of them are so cute in that!

Paul getting hit by a pillow?
WHY HAVE I NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE?
So. Friggin. Adorable.

You know you're a Paul fan if:
You find this quote amusing and oh-so-true: "What with those dewy eyes and apple cheeks, it's easy to see how, at the height of [Paul's] musical and other-wordly [sic] powers, had he so desired, he could've hypnotized and sexually enslaved legions of teenage and twenty-something girls throughout the world. The key phrase there being 'had he so desired.'" (from a Beatles zombie book, I think it's called Paul Is Undead)
You read the bold part above and realized that you would actually be willing to be Paul's sex slave. :-[ ha2ha
You named your new iPod "iPaul."
You are also tempted to name your new iMac "iMcCartney." :P
-

Pssh, well he'd have to take me to dinner first. *crosses arms snobbishly*

But yah I get what you mean ha2ha
