today i'll be buying a cd, preferable beatle-releated(that means it can be beatles, or albums/dvd's from their solo years, and i wanted some advice on what to get? i dont really know, post what you think i should get because i have like all the beatles albums already apart from 1 or 2

My favourite one from the guys is BEATLES FOR SALE. Ill be able of help in some way (really a pleasure) if give more details of your discography of them. :)

so do you know what i should maybe get beatles releated that i havent got?

also, if you cant think of any beatles ones, i was maybe looking for some abstract or weird music, but not like yoko, u know like bands noones really heard of, like portishead?

I think its easy.

From the guys:
The Beatles (a double album known as the White Album)
Help!
and the underrated Yellow Submarine (its almost the soundtrack from the film but Hello Bulldog and Its All Too Much are great rocks)

From their solo works:
Paul: Band On The Run, Tug Of War, McCartney II (underrated but a good work indeed), Ram (in Pauls style when he was with the guys)

George: All Things Must Pass, Extra Texture (Read All About It) (a very underrated one, but my favourite)

Ringo: Ringo (His mates helping him a lot, but Ive not got it), Goodnight Vienna

John: Mind Games, Plastic Ono Band, Walls and Bridges, Imagine, Sometime in New York (underrated but one of my favourite from him), Double Fantasy (only his songs...Its what Ive heard  ;) )

DO NOT and I repeat,,,,DO NOT bother getting 'Mccartney 2' until you've bought everything else from him and everybody else. Dont be mislead. Its a techno record that sounds like Paul is trying out for 'The Human League' of 'Men Without Hats',,,,and he failed. It has one good song 'Waterfalls' and one other decent tune 'One Of Those Days' and the rest is just horrible. Even 'Coming Up' is the crappy studio tune thats almost unlistenable. So dont listen to the people that are telling you its underrated and so forth. Its crap.

Buy RAM if you dont have it yet. You wont be disappointed.

As I told you in the other thread, lennonlegend, those albums are great ... but I don't know the third one.
