Early John witticisms
« on: June 13, 2012, 03:51:08 PM »

From Beatles Monthly or some other source at the time:

1. When the Lads were still touring England by van (circa 1962), Neil fell asleep at the wheel. The van ran off the road, crashing through a fence before coming to a stop. From the back of the van, John called out: "You can do better than that, Neil."

2. About the same time period, as guests at what we now call a "bed and breakfast", the Beatles were treated to fresh eggs for breakfast. Upon opening his soft-boiled egg, John discovered a chicken embryo. John's question: "Is it Easter then?"

Just had to share.
