What's a good site to find who played what?
« on: March 19, 2004, 06:21:57 PM »

I remember a good site that told me every Beatles song, who sang lead, who sang backup, who played what guitar, EVERYTHING.  Does anyone know a good place, cuz I lost that website that told me.

Don`t know about that particular website, but www.allmusic.com is usually the best place for such info.

You can try the new site offered by sissu ("Beatle Instruments" thread) which upon first glance seems fairly comprehensive and accurate.

Oh, cool. I also needed a site with all the details like that.
Some of the albums have that written on them, others don't.

I don't wanna sound like a kiss-up but this site has it all in the discography. Although I think there are a few minor inaccuracies because it says Paul plays guitar on "And I Love Her" and there is no bass but there is clearly a bass line when it goes (for you musicians) from A to B7 ("And if you saw my love...")
