It was definitely NOT for the faint of heart!  :o  It's so hard to find a scary movie that doesn't involve gore or gratuitous sex/nudity. They are few and far between.

Watched a couple of movies recently:

Great Gatsby - loved it! I reckon it was better than the Mia Farrow version. They caprtured the era really well.

Man of Steel - I fell asleep! Seriously, it was one cgi battle after another. But Superman is cute :)

World War Z - Eeeeeew!!!!! I spent most of the movie with my eyes closed and could not sleep the night. Bleah!

So did I, Dave.  Two and a half hours of non-stop Arthur Cycle.  It took me ten minutes just to be able to get up out of my seat after the movie ended.  What a great motion picture this is!

Yeah!  Mordred hung all those questing knights in that tree.  It wasn't easy finding that grail!

Arthur is knighted and then pronounced king by Uryens...

The Power of Excalibur is Divine, Arthur becomes a King!

Later in the movie, Uryens refuses to renounce King Arthur and is put to death by Mordred.  This spurs Percival on to find the grail.  What a great movie!

I think I'd have to spend a lot of this movie with my eyes shut, listening to the music!

It's not all battle scenes with limbs being hacked off and knights-errant meeting their demise in assorted ways, Kelley.  The movie has some tender moments too like when King Arthur and Guinevere get married...

And when Sir Lancelot meets Guinevere...

There are even some love scenes...

About three or four minutes in total!

Ah yes..the love triangle, the passion; I guess I would have to open my eyes for three or four minutes in total. But I'd need someone with me to tell me when it's safe to do so!

This reminds me of a song:

Demo of Guinevere, with David Crosby and Jack Casady:
CSN - Guinnevere

Kinda takes your mind off blood and gore, huh? (For about three or four minutes in total. ;))
