« on: July 23, 2008, 07:29:47 PM »

Which single do you like best from Ram ? , the UK single  Back Seat Of My Car or the US single Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey ? (thumbsup)(thumbsdown)(smile)
I've added  "Eat At Home " as it was released as a single in some European countries and was a # 7 hit for Paul and Linda in Australia .
Thanks Geoff for pointing that out , about it been releassed in Europe (smile)

Uncle Albert /Admiral Halsey gets my vote , i always felt a little robbed it was never released as a single in the UK , i think it's one of Paul's best singles .
I like the Back Seat Of My Car and it should have gone higher than it's # 39 chart place in the UK , it's got one of paul's great vocals (smile)

"Back Seat of My Car," although I think it would have been a better song if it had been faded around the 2:45 mark. "Eat At Home," which was a single in some European countries (right?) is a good song, too.  :)

I think Back seat of my car doesn't get enough credit from Paul fans. It's such a great song.

Back Seat Of My Car for me. Not too surprised that it didn't do that well in the singles chart. It doesn't flow like a good catchy single should, being made of several different parts. Not many of those type of songs become hits. Of course there are exceptions: Music, by John Miles, and Macca's own Live And Let Die. Maybe the record buying public just weren't ready for it.

I love those three. But Uncle is the best!

Uncle Albert / Admiral Halsey        I didn't know that, Dave.  Shame, really.
