It's been four years since the stereo and mono remastered box sets were released.

I heard an interview with Kevin Howlett the other night and he mentioned that work was commenced on volume 2 right after the first one was released!

So 'Volume 2' is finally out on Monday, I feel as though I've been waiting for these CDs forever. I'm sure it wasn't like this years ago! Then it would be, 'It's out next week, mate.'
It's a special journey into 'that there London' for me on Monday - the last time I bought a record on day of release was 'SMiLE' two years ago, which was, coincidentally, the last 'new' (no pun on McCartney) record I actually bought.

No way.
This was clearly the weekend to watch Borussia Monchengladbach instead of Wingate & Finchley!
I'll know next time.

Just started playing the most important record release of the 21st Century - sorry, 'Live at the BBC, Volume 2' - and, already 'Do You Want To Know A Secret' is stronger than the studio version.

Two things.
1. If the two-for-one purchase had been pitched at, the more logical, £25, Apple would now have ten more pounds, and,
2. How hard is it to actually buy a physical record in 2013?!
I looked in two supermarkets before getting on a five mile round trip on a London bus to get mine!

On 'Lucille' now.....fabulous.....and Paul's just had his 21st birthday.....and now 'Anna'.....

That's great to hear, oldbrownshoe!  Thanks.  I have both Live at the BBC, Volume 2 and the remastered Volume 1 preordered.

As my fave LP by the Fabs is 'Please, Please, Me' I accept that this release (and Volume 1) was virtually tailor made for me, but it is absolutely fantastic.
Their version of 'I'm Talking About You' is sensational. Almost as much of a revelation as 'Bathroom Window' was on Anthology 3.

That wasn't such an achievement, was it? :)

Had one cursory listen through and am very pleased. Some good surprises. Having an in-depth listen tonight with the headphones. Hot-cha!

That was pretty good, wasn't it?

They're both (On Air Live at the BBC, Volume 2 and the remastered Volume 1) being released in the United States today, Kev.
