1st. Let It Be
2nd. Two Of Us
3rd. Across The Universe

Worst: Maggie Mae

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: My favourite song from Let It Be is Long And Winding Road but what Phil Spector did to it was kill the song dead with his dreadful strings & choir arrangement. The Anthology 3, Let It Be... Naked & Give My Regards To Broad Street versions are far superior IMHO.

PS. If this was for the vastly superior & de-Spectorized Let It Be .... Naked:

1st Long & Winding Road
2nd Don't Let Me Down
3rd Across The Universe

You can argue about the quality of the version and arrangement of a song, but does that make a difference for the quality of the song itself?

I don't think so. It's why I'm leaving Get Back, and Across The Universe off of Past Masters Vol 2. And this was always about Beatles releases from 1962-1970.

1. Two of Us
2. Long & winding road
3. Ive Got A Feeling

worst maggie mae

I think the version is important. L&WR is a great song but a crap version on LIB. If you look at it on Naked or any of the Macca live albums, its one ofhis greatest songs when presented properly.

The get back version on PM2 was pre 1970 and a much better version than the half cocked version here

There's just one day left to vote in this round. With 22 votes in there's just two points separating 1st and 2nd, and a tie for 3rd place.

Just to remind you that if there is a tie, then a one day vote will ensue, starting at 12 noon GMT on Sunday, and finishing at 12 noon GMT on Monday.

I wasn't planning on it, but feel free, it'll take forever! Remember most people don't have all the solo albums, and you need a decent vote for it to be meaningful.
