Tonight? Nay, it's late afternoon here. Remember that we in Australia are ahead of you. It's Monday afternoon, just after 4.30 as I write.

And surly? Nah. I've had a good day. Not too creative, to be sure, but I got a lot of hack work out of the way.

I forgot you were an Aussie. I actually have a cousin who married and moved to Australia. I havent talked to him in 8 years, but my aunt says he loves it down there. Regardless, I heard theres too many poisonous snakes for me to ever be comfortable there.

As for today, my only creativity will be behind the drumset as i'll probably do my regular routine of drinking a few beers and playing until the kids get home from school. Not exactly adding anything to the human race, but i'm not hurting anybody but myself.

No way! I have NEVER seen a poisonous snake (or non-poisonous for that matter) in any of my yards - never EVER. Sure they exist - in the bush. But mostly they scurry away as they pick up the vibrations of people clumping along. I saw a black snake in the bush ONCE: that was in 1972.

The Brits think we have spiders galore, and that they come into our houses and kill us in the night. Rubbish!

All Americans and Brits that I know quite like Australia, and are embarrassed that they once believed such myths about the country.

I've never heard the spider tales. Yeah, I dont remember where or when I may have heard or read about the snakes, but its good that it isnt like I thought.

Speaking of the spiders, it reminded me of when my wife, kids, and I visited her mother in Texas and I woke up one morning only to see the cat fighting with a scorpion in the hall way. I didnt sleep very well after that.
