I visited a wildlife park in Namibia years ago. There is was the other way round. We had to camp in a fenced area to keep the animals out.

Alot of zoos are wonderful though...when I lived in Spain I went to alot of them and they were absolutely beautiful, no bars, no cages, the animals had huuuge parks of their own so they could wander around and you almost felt like you were in an actual jungle  ha2ha
