Beatles club in West Derby conservation area extension
Plans to extend the conservation area around West Derby village in Liverpool have been announced.
The extension takes in Haymans Green which includes the building where The Casbah Club run by mother of former Beatle's drummer Pete Best was located.
John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison played at the venue as both The Quarrymen and The Beatles.
