The wife and I just finished "Limitless". I thought it was a really good movie. A couple of interesting twists. Well written too.

I haven't seen it for a while but does antone remember Peter Sellers in "The Party". It was made in 1968. Hilariously funny! I recomend the rental if you can find it.

Bubba Ho-Tep! I think this movie is very funny in it's own sort of way. The premise that some of our aged (deceased) pop icons are together in a movie to solve the mystery of why senoir citizens are disapearing in an Eeast Texas nursing home. Strange! Can anyone figure out who Bubba Ho-Tep is played as (by)

Quadrophenia, for about the 200th time. Love it! -- although brings back horrid memories of my own childhood. Love (but cringe at) the scene where Jimmy's drunken father smacks him down the stairs for mouthing off....So much like my own teenagerhood.

Sigh...maybe it's time to go back to the ACoA forum  :-\

Saw another Robert Duvall movie this weekend. It's called "Get Low"! He never lets me down.

"The Possession" with my two teen daughters. Creepy!

Someone actually brought a 4-year-old (who sat through the whole movie with no problem!).

It's so hard to find a good horror movie that isn't full of gore and torture.

Loved the original, but have heard some less than positive reviews of the remake.

I also love Kate.

Saw a charming periodpiece drama with Richard Dreyfuss and Blythe Danner called "The Lighthouse Keepers". Just a nice story and good acting. Filmed in Chatham, Massachussetts on cape Cod. I liked it.

Heaven Can Wait

I loved that movie! I was the only one of my friends who had pictures of Warren Beatty on their wall. What can I say? I liked older men.  ha2ha

I saw part of a Peter Sellers movie a few months ago. I wasn't home and didn't know how to bring the guide up on the TV so I didn't catch the title. He played an American, a straight-laced business man with a hippie brother. It was really funny and off-beat of course and I'd like to see the whole thing!

I've heard similar things about the remake so I'll wait to rent the disc, if for no other reason than to see my only celebrity crush, the awesome Kate Beckinsale!  :P

Id recommend you go see it, its a very visual film and can only really be fully appreciated on the big screen, I dont think you'd get its full impact at home ;)

That sounds intriguing, unfortunately my mobility is a bit limited right now for me to sit in a theater.  It'll be alright on disc, I have a pretty good setup in the man cave.
