Thirty one years...
« on: December 08, 2011, 12:19:30 AM »

...since he was taken from us.

RIP great man

My four year old son had his kindy Xmas concert last night. The finale was 'Happy Xmas/War Is Over'.

Very moving. Has to be one of John's best ever vocals!

Oh, I've mentioned it before but it's worth repeating on this day:

My son's full name is Cooper Lennon McDonell. His favorite song is 'I Want To Hold Your Hand'.

Peace and love all...

That's great, thanks for sharing.

Here's John's supposedly last interview posted by The Rolling Stone magazine :

It was a good read and I've just finished listening to "Mind Games" and "John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band". Rest in peace, Johnny!

Is there any chance of that? I have not really been able to even read much of anything about him all these years. It's just too hard.

I remember the day like it was yesterday - I was in high school at the time, both Teachers and Pupils were walking around in complete shock.

That is so sweet! Thanks for sharing. I hadn't seen your first post on this.

I can't imagine his murderer will ever go free. He was just denied parole again last year.
