No contest.

TW was a great supergroup, especially for the time when the general music scene was pretty crappy.

But they couldn't sustain it past the first album.

I do as well, but not everything.  Not like the first album.  You have Orbison missing and Dylan doing far too many lead vocals.  At least one or two of the songs should never have been released.  But otherwise, sure I love it as well.

I like the Wilburys better because they had George Harrison.

I like Dylan myself, though his "voice" is not for everyone (and for all I know, you like Dylan but just feel he had too many songs). The real problem with the second album for us Beatle fans is that George doesn't have any lead vocals (if I'm remembering rightly).

Here are the songs I like on it:

She's My Baby
Inside Out
The Devil's Been Busy
New Blue Moon
Wilbury Twist

I agree, but the Wilbury's were an interesting combination.  All the members had that melodic/poetic style.

I really liked the traveling wilburys, but they didn't come close to the Beatles. But it was nice to see George back in the music spotlight again.

Man I love the TW but they don't compare to the Beatles.

The only reason why they didn't go past the first album (yes... first) was because Orbison died.

The 2nd (or 3rd as you might want to put it) album was just a bunch of songs put together by the remaining band-members.

http://www.wildwesthero-elo.com.ar/boloqui/wilburys.html

That site has a good sum-up of who they were.

The good thing about them is they were doing it for FUN. Not for money or anything.
