Hey Bobber!
I shall try to get over here to DM's if I've got something substantial to say ~ my contributions will mostly Eppy-centric, though.
Brian needs so many more people paying attention to his legacy than he's had for the past 40 years. To me and others in my growing group of Eppy lovers, Brian's life is actually much more fascinating in so many ways than his Boys' lives.
I'm constantly trying to flush all the other Brian admirers out of the bushes, so to speak! They're lurking here and there all over the world, but unfortunately most of the ones my age aren't internet-savvy. However! I'm finding many more young people who love Brian than ever before ~ they just haven't had the support of each other until I started searching them out.
It's funny, but I'm not very good at short forum posts... mine end up looking and feeling more like magazine articles. That's one reason why, in forum posts, I tend to provide links to some other sites (such as LiveJournal) where these "articles" I've posted are much more in line with the format.
Let me know if that's all right, and if it's all right to stick a little "Fifth Beatles Movie Forum" banner at the end of my posts like a sig. First I've gotta figure out how to translate my html into the strange code used in forums (with the brackets instead of < and such) ~ I can't find a tutorial on the web or usenet groups on how to do that! :B If I'm gonna be successful running a purely Brian forum I'd better find a place to learn this stuff.
I like to think of our Brian movie forum as being
complementary and not competition to the main Beatles forums on the web such as DM's, since the Beatles forums all persist on calling him merely a "fifth Beatle" or "the Beatles' manager," etc.
However, I have found that you all want to know more about Brian, too. So I want to pop in from time to time if that's all right. I guess I'll always have to post within the "Fifth Beatle" category, though, unless the subject matter leans toward being more Beatley than Briany.
It's just that when I post it will almost always end up referring to Eppy. :
