I'm trying to find when Harrison's Ramírez guitar was mentioned for the first time, and -as far as I know- on that Guitar Player issue is not mentioned. I suspect it was never mentioned on any Beatles Monthly Book or Beat Instrumental issue. In fact, I also suspect it wasn't mentioned until ca. late nineties...

Nick Thiel book is still not published, although it was announced since 2009. Andy Babiuk's one -also titled Beatles Gear- was published in 2001, and the guitar is identified as a Ramírez.

The oldest quote I have found so far is dated 1994, and belongs to Walter Everett (=another Beatles scholar, as you know...)

Perhaps the guitar was ID as a Ramírez prior to 1994, and that is what I'm trying to find...
