The Beatles: Day-by-Day, Song-by-Song, Record-by-Record

Anybody know if this is any good? Sounds like a very useful book.

I haven't read it, but the author was once the driving force behind the website (plus forum) Shabby Road, I think. Looks like a useful book, although it looks like Mark Lewisohn's chronology. Let me know what you think if you get it. The readers reviews are good too.

If you meant 'Chronicle', yes it does. But it was the stuff about each song that interested me. The major book store in town doesn't have much a music section anymore, so I may have to take a chance.

From what I remember from the website Craig was running, the stuff about each song wasn't much more detailed than A Hard Day's Write for instance. Still, it looks like a nice book to have.

Never read it but it looks (or sounds) like another one of them
Mark Lewisohn's type-books, maybe not as good though.
