One of my most favourite Beatle books is 'Waiting For The Beatles' - An 'Apple Scruffs' story by Carol Bedford. (I must have read it about ten times!) It really shows you 'the other side of the coin' from a day-by-day fan's point of view as these dedicated group of people stayed out day and night hoping for a nod or a smile from their favourite Beatle. I recently read on a Dallas auction website (dated 2004), that Ms Bedford had now passed away - can anyone confirm this very sad news?
