Julian Lennon goes live on TV with new single (video)

Julian Lennon went live on TV Thursday with a performance of his new single "Lookin' 4 Luv" from his forthcoming album "Everything Changes." The performance (which can be seen at left) was on the Scottish TV show "The Hour." On the show, he said he hadn't seen the recent film about his father, "Nowhere Boy." "I know about the real stories so I don’t tend to watch things that are necessarily fabricated," he told show hosts Michelle McManus and Tam Cowan.

Julian Lennon demands a flying Liverpool visit, and promises to be back before Christmas

BEATLES boy Julian Lennon made a flying visit to Liverpool to promote his new album Everything Changes after insisting the city be crammed in to his schedule. The singer, in the UK for the release, wasn't due to visit but demanded he fit it in.Unfortunately for Julian, it was all work, work, work and he wasn’t able to enjoy any sightseeing or trips to some of his dad's old haunts, although he has pledged to next time.

REVIEW: Julian Lennon's new album filled with reminders of his father

Welcome back an old friend. Julian Lennon's new album "Everything Changes," (available on physical CD from amazon.co.uk) his first new studio album since 1998, won't have listeners spending a lot of time analyzing a new direction. This is Julian Lennon the way you'd expect him to be -- with touches of his father, and interestingly, even ELO at times, embellishing very personal lyrics that cross both romantic themes and his interests in what's happening in the world.

I believe it's a good song. It would be nice to see him working with Paul on an occasion.

I'd also like to see him working with Paul.

It doesn't have to be called "The Beatles." Because Julian isn't John, it'll be Paul McCartney and Julian Lennon, the son of John.

Julian has never gotten the respect he deserves, which is odd, because he's just as talented as his dad. Even though they made different types of music.

Maybe they just don't want to work together? I'm not sure I'd want to work with my dad's old workmates. Not sure my dad would either. If you see what I mean. Or not. I mean maybe John wouldn't want to work with Paul at this stage in the game if he were around. I'm just sayin... 2ch
