Title: Part 1: Album(s) review: Stereo/Mono, pitchfork.com

Interesting all around. It shows some waveforms comparing the mono version - 1987 - and 2009.

Despite what I have read, with assurances by those involved that it will be true to the originals, the 2009 seem more compressed than the original "mono" versions. That's a little bit disappointing, because if true, it means that we are really not hearing what they heard upstairs in studio 2 as mixing/mastering was taking place.

What do you guys think?
