I just realize how I like almost every song on MMT. Which one is your favorite?
-
Definitely Strawberry Fields.
-
Strawberry Fields Forever and ever!!!
-
you know my name, look up the avatar ;)
-
I am the Walrus
-
I Am The Walrus....Lennon psychedelic masterpiece which is above most of the trippy rock classics back in 67.
-
This is close but I'd have to say Fool On The Hill. Great lerrics. Then it would be Strawberry fields after that. 8)
-
I've only heard All You Need Is Love, Hello Goodbye, Penny Lane and I Am The Walrus from it. :(
IATW is my fave of those. :)
-
Flying, Blue Jay Way & baby your a rich man are my fav off the album but not forgettin Strawberry Fields
-
this album is very good, all the songs on it are very good, but i want with strawbery fields, then i would say i love alot Hello goodbye
-
I have no doubt it's my beloved MAGICAL MYSTERY TOUR!!!!!!!!! One of my Beatles' favourites!
-
Fool on the Hill
-
I like them all...I really like "your mother should know" But i also really like "I am the walrus"
-
Strawberry fields
-
1. Strawberry Fields Forever
2. Penny Lane

4. I Am The Walrus
5. Hello Goodbye
6. Magical Mystery Tour
7. Baby You're A Rich Man
8. The Fool on the Hill
9. Your Mother Should Know
10. Blue Jay Way
11. Flying
-
let me take you down, cause I'm going tooooo.... ;-)
-
hello goodbye
-
All the way Strawberry fields forever. You should've only put the options Strawberry fields forever and other. Or maybe not even other. That's how good Strawberry fields Forever is!
-
Well "I Am the Walrus" should've been one of the options, as I'm guessing everyone who clicked "Other" was thinking of that song.
-
thats hard to pick just one,but it would have to be "i'am the walrus", an absolute masterpiece
-
I Am The Walrus - a masterpiece.
-
"Strawberry Fields Forever", although "All You Need is Love" comes in a close second.
-
i am the walrus

Man....another wrong answer. :P
-
fool on the hill.
-
Strawberry Fields.
Its a masterpiece.
-
Honestly,who do you guys think I voted for?
-
All you need is love
-
I forgot about "Baby you're a rich man" otherwise I would have picked 'other'. (My beloved Brian Jones played on it!!!) BUt I love Magical Mystery Tour. Love singing it at the top of my voice. And I can't believe it is beating Penny Lane (although if this were preferential votes I am sure Penny Lane would be kicking its a***!
-
What about I am the walrus?
-
I voted for Other and that other being I Am The Walrus. It's so weird and random, I love it.
-
Incredible how the author didn't put I Am The Walrus in the list. Especially as most of the list is not from the EP!
-
Strawberry Fields Forever! Forever!
-
I always thought 'The Fool On The Hill' was really good. It may not be my favorite, but it so meaningful to me. The other would have been Strawberry Fields for sure
-
if we are talking MMT ep, then i will go for The Fool on the Hill, if i go for the album version i will go with Strawberry Fields,
but i voted The Fool on the Hill, as i always see it as an EP.
-
Fool On The Hill.......both on the EP and album version.
Hello Goodbye is a very close 2nd on the album version. ;)
-
It is always hard to pick a favortie song from any album for me...but I always liked...
~~~Flying~~~
-
for me its a toss up between Walrus and Strawberry Fields, but as where I grew up (UK) Strawberry Fields was never on the double EP Im going to go for the song that blew everybody's socks of, and that was 'Walrus'
Seriously I was like 16 at the time and none had heard anything quite like it, from the outlandish lyrics to the brilliant spoken live radio narrations of Shakespeare (forerunner to ideas on albums like Dark Side Of The Moon)and orchestrations.
Walrus is a truly monumental statement gushing with originality written at the peak of Johns creativity, its extremely powerful and burst from the speakers with supreme confidence with those slurpy cello's and wonderful psychedelic notes from the mellotron, a new fangled keyboard used heavily on MMT (the flutes on Fool On The Hill)
Seriously for me this song changed popular music in a big big way, it quite possibly could have been the kick start for progressive Rock with its neo classical overtones (although so could A Day In The Life) ELO's Jeff Lynn said in an interview that it was the catalyst for him creating ELO..
Fool On The Hill is a pleasant enough song (mums and dads loved it) but didnt kick down any musical doors IMO
whilst Flying and Blue Jay Way are both second rate songs IMO
-
I am the walrus!
;D
-
I'm going with "I Am The Walrus" but ... I think that's because I think of it as more of a "real" MMT than "Strawberry Fields Forever" & "Penny Lane" ... Really all 3 of those songs are so great it's hard to choose just one.
-
I love "Flying" buttttt "Strawberry Fields Forever" is epic.
-
Almost all the songs on MMT have become my favorite at one time or another. Now, my favorite is "Baby You're A Rich Man".
-
If I had to put them in order I'd go for ....
I Am The Walrus
Strawberry Fields Forever
Baby You're A Rich Man
The Fool on the Hill
Penny Lane
All You Need is Love
Hello Goodbye
Magical Mystery Tour
Your Mother Should Know
Flying
Blue Jay Way
-
Hmm... Strawberry Fields Forever, for sure. But I also love the Anthology version of Fool on the Hill.
-
'The Fool on The Hill' - really great and meaningful lyrics and wonderful melody espacially the flute playing.
2nd : I Am The Walrus or Penny Lane (but it's not a close 2nd :) )
Strawberry Fields Forever
-
It's a hard one. Strawberry Fields probably wins it, somewhat closely followed by Penny Lane and The Fool On The Hill.
-
"I Am The Walrus", without a doubt. With "Strawberry Fields Forever" a CLOSE, very close, second.
-
'Strawberry Fields Forever' -- it's unbelievable how great that song is.
-
Strawberry Fields Forever
Strawberry Fields Forever followed closely by Penny Lane and I Am The Walrus.
Aww man, hard choice! But I have to say:
1. "The Fool On The Hill".
2. "Strawberry Fields Forever".
3. "All You Need Is Love".
4. "I Am The Walrus".
5. "Hello Goodbye".
That's my favourite songs in no order but "The Fool On The Hill" is #1, I think. I still can't choose a favourite song. :p
