I'm anxious to revisit 'London Town' too. It was never a favorite so I very rarely spin it and its been years since i've listened to it. I never cared very much for 'Wings At The Speed Of Sound' either, but was pleasantly surprised when I listened to it again. I'm hoping for a similar reaction with 'London Town'.

We'll get to them soon enough. I never listen to them so maybe they have aged well. (Yeah right)

I was planning to take care of this sh*t after I'm finished with McCartney.

Im not sure theres much point Bobber, I dont detect much love for John on this forum, most on here seem to think he was a total wanker who contributed nothing after Revolver.....just move straight to George might be the best way to go.

Relax. I think Plastic Ono Band is a good album and so is Imagine. I'm not too fond of the rest tho. But who knows, I might find some unexpected highlights.

dunno about that.lucy in the sky with diamonds, good morning good morning, happiness is a warm gun, dear prudence.......i could go on.i think paul may have had the edge musically-wise(is that good grammar?)but i think john definitely offered good 'sh*t' after 1966.

I can almost promise you Kev that John's solo reviews will hail the most participation and receive the highest regards from this forum when the time comes. When I say 90% of his stuff is sh*t, thats just me being me. I'll go in with my eyes open and i'll be as honest as possible. Hell, I might even surprise you.

I think you'll like London Town, Todd... it's a bit like Back to the Egg except with better songs and band.

 :P

I have a free day tomorrow. I'm listening to it now, so hurry up Bobber.

It's a lot of songs and I'm not having a free day. But I'll see what I can do.

I just listen to Beware My Love and Wino Junko, which are the bee's knees.  Everything else I pass on.
