I guess maybe I’m not so worldly. I hear “La, la, la”.  ;D

Where does "la, la, la, la" fit into that song?  This is Dion we're talking about.

Well you can have it! But I will admit I was wrong about Runaround Sue.  I missed that extra “la”. But I’m sure he said slut when they were entertaining the Baldies.

The Wanderers lived to see another day...another day to play the best game in The Bronx...

Me and my friends jumped onto The Subway Special To The World's Fair (the 7 train) without paying any 15 cents...

Did you see this there the year before?

I’m in a Facebook group called Old Postcards of New York. They’ve been posting a whole slew of cards from the World’s Fair.

Yeah, Kelley.  I remember that Ferris wheel but I never went on it.  What we did, after hopping onto The Subway Special To The World's Fair and sneaking into the Fair under the fence by Meadows Lake, was to sneak into the Ford Pavillion and get on line for the Walt Disney Magic Skyway where we would strategically position ourselves so we could hop into a Ford Mustang...

We did a lot of hopping and sneaking in those days.   ;D

The Magic Skyway was exciting for sure.  But most absorbing was Walt Disney's Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln at The Illinois State Pavillion...

Both of those World’s Fair videos were great to watch, Barry. I’m not surprised that you boys didn’t settle for anything but the Mustang. With the Lincoln video we see the genesis of Disneyworld’s Hall of Presidents. I saw that years ago and it gave me chills. Unfortunately, it’s been closed since January because there’s been some sort of dispute with the White House over the speech that the animatronic Trump will give.

Competition to pile into a Mustang was fierce.  Me, Jay and Josh weren't the only ones trying to catch a Mustang...

But we were polite.  If a bunch of girls wanted to get in a Mustang, we'd let them...

There was always another coming down the lane soon enough.
