Isn't it a bit subjective as to which was their best album? I mean we all have our own preferences. Even the four of them probably wouldn't agree. Unless someone knows which album each of them favored. Which I'm sure someone does.

Rubber Soul.
Although I really cant be bothered to type the explanation...repetition is not favoured among my fingers.

i've never been that greater fan of abbey road. i like it but i prefer revolver, white album, rubber soul, SGT peppers, an AHDN over it.

I have to admit, Abbey Road is great..but no where near Rubber Soul, Revolver or the White Album.
Like Ive said before, Abbey Road has that finale-feeling, an injection of faked happyness and a bright sickly emphasis which could make Walt Disney happy. Cult status emerges from such points.
Its a Great Album, but I cant say Best* Beatles* Album* merely because it was 4 Solo artists working under a collective tag.  Although from the White Album onwards this can be said....the White Album feels like an Album, not an abstract handshake of sorts between the bitter Beatles themselves.

I think that's the point.  Polls are never really factual  ;D

I totally agree. For me, the best is "Rubber Soul", which doesn't mean that is the best Beatles album.

normally id take the mick and say the essential beatles or somethin but im too shocked that revolver and the white album arent 1 and 2 respectively. at least abbey road meant the beatles went out on a high but its not as good as revolver, white album, sgt peppers etc

Wow, and I thought that Sgt. Pepper was the best album. I don't really like Sgt. Pepper but I love the White Album and Rubber Soul. The White Album has the greatest rock songs ever, Rubber Soul is my favourite 1965 album because it shows that the Beatles had made some changes in their music.
Abbey Road is cool because it has 'the pop opera' (the medley) and some nice songs.
Revolver: nice rock songs but they can't compare to the White Album.
Sgt. Pepper: very psychedelic.
MMT: psychedelic but weird.
Let It Be: the only good songs (I like) on the album are One After 909, Across The Universe and I've Got a Feeling (and Let It Be).

1. Rubber Soul/The White Album
2. Abbey Road
3. Revolver
4. Sgt. Pepper
5. MMT
6. Let It Be

I know this may have been done a few times but its good for us newer folk, even to read and find out what the general opinion among the real fans are.

Especially this question, considering music experts and critics pretty much vote Sgt Pepper every time don;t they?
