Dr Ebbetts...?
« on: January 09, 2005, 04:26:04 AM »

Anybody ever hear about him? He's this bootleg guru that's really popular, I think... But I'm not sure exactly what he does... I know it's something about remixing the official releases, but what exactly does he do to them?

Anybody know?

Dr Ebbetts does high quality vinyl transfers of Beatles albums. He has all the original US and UK albums in mono and stereo (where applicable), all the post breakup collections, Canadian, Mexican, German, and Spanish albums, the list goes on and on. Check out his list on Bootlegzone:

I think that his album artwork is much better than on the Capitol Box. Plus the sound is excellent. So if you have a jones for the way the original albums sounded, try to locate some of his stuff.
