I saw Elvis' Comeback Special when it aired, Kelley.  I think everyone in the whole country was glued to their TV sets that night.

That's what I understand. I was never really a fan of his until I was older, probably in my 30's. But one night I saw a clip of him on TV and was converted. LOL

The best Elvis movie I've seen was Heartbreak Hotel (1988).  It takes place in 1972, Elvis' jumpsuit era.  This teenage boy (Charlie Schlatter) decides to kidnap Elvis (David Keith) and bring him home to cheer up his mom (Tuesday Weld) who is a big Elvis fan.  She's divorced and depressed.  He convinces Elvis to cut his hair and sideburns the way he wore them in the 1950s and change into his dad's old clothes.  Here's his mom's reaction when she comes home...
