Cool! I've been seeing that on Facebook quite a bit. He must be a fan too, then.

Have you had an opportunity to listen to it yet? And, if so, what did you think of it?

Me too! I got the album for Christmas when it first came out but I was young and didn't have the frame of reference to enjoy it that I do now. I wish I still had the album so I could compare it to this remaster. I listened to this for the first time last night and it all sounded so fresh, exciting and fun. I got it a couple of weeks ago and was waiting until I could sit down and listen to the CD. That always seems to sound better than when I put it on my phone. But I'm knee-deep in a kitchen cleaning and reorganizing project and needed something to boost my energy while I was working. That did it!

Mine was waiting for me when I went home for lunch. I got to watch most of the first feature on the bonus disc:

Words & Music (24 mins)
John, Paul, George & Ringo reflect on songwriting and the influence of music from their parents’ generation, Lennon/McCartney writing for other artists, The Beatles as individual musicians, and the band as innovators.  Also featuring Howard Goodall, Peter Asher, Simon Schama and Elvis Costello.  The interviews with Paul and Ringo are unseen.

Even though there wasn't much of anything new to me, I like hearing it straight from those who lived it.

Hopefully mine will come before Thanksgiving, Kelley.  I'm really looking forward to it!
