The title of Ringo's new album Choose Love sounds way too wimpy while it's kind of silly of him saying " peace & love " most of the time that it's nauseating.

Well, at least its good to know that your even negative towards actual Beatles themselves even though your a dedicated Beatles fan.

Two questions,,,,,,

1. How was it determined that 'Choose Love' sounds wimpy? Does it sound wimpier than 'Women And Children First' from Van Halen,,,,,or maybe worse than 'Honkin' On Bobo' from Aerosmith. Just cuirous as to how you came to your conclusion.

2. What was your opinion on the last three or four Ringo albums Wayne? Again, just curious.

I haven't been too impressed with Aerosmith & Van Halen for awhile as a dedicated fan so Ringo isn't the only one but I'm not expecting another Toys In The Attic, Fair Warning or Abbey Road like SOME of my fellow Beatles fans sadly.

Ok, Wayne thats fair enough, but my point is,,,Ringos last four albums were fantastic. How can a title dictate how good the album is going to be. I have no doubt that 'Choose Love' will be nothing short of great as his last few were.

I know Time Takes Time, Vertical Man & Ringorama were great albums but I think Ringo will be going to back to his TERRIBLE Ringo The 4th/Bad Boy days with his next album Choose Love if he's doing some songs with Tammy Faye Bakker.

The 'Mark Hudson' factor makes me pretty confident that the album will be good. The other factor of course is 'Sir RRRIIINNNNGGGOOOO!!!!!!

I think Ringo SHOULD have kept the original title One Leg At A Time for his upcoming solo album which sounds more sexual & more controversial especially these days instead of of the wimpy Choose Love while it's sad that he seems to be going back into his Ringo The 4th/Bad Boy days working with Tammy Faye Bakker!!!!!

Always so quick to write something off. Even if it is a 'wimpy' album I'm sure it'll still have a few tracks worth the price of admission.

I'm not quick to write anything off my friend but One Leg At A Time would be more controversial of a title for Ringo than the boring Choose Love.  BTW, If you don't think working with Tammy Faye Bakker is a step down you have to be crazy.

What were the sales for his last three albums? I don't think any of them even went gold did they?  He must have some kind of great deal where he can keep making album after album when they don't sell. I have Time Takes Time. I like it alot,it got good reviews, and everybody I've heard who has it thinks it's good. And it's the same with the other two albums. If he couldn't get any of those albums to sell, will he ever have an album that does? Or is he even trying for sales?

^It's a mystery. Certainly since so many new acts get dropped the moment their sales dip, and I don't know many record companies that exist to perform a public service. Guess those who are into his stuff should just be grateful.
