I can't stand the weather currently!
Sunny as summer during the day, freezing as winter at night! And it's a full moon this week, which makes the night even more sleepless - not only coz it's cold but also it's so damn light outside!!!!! Grrrrrrrr

I looked for him just now when I was out but all I could see were stars. He must be hiding behind a cloud.

Well, in anticipation of about an hour from now.  Right now, Mars is shining brightly overhead.

Sort of. It's been in the 60's for the most part but we've having a few days getting into the 70's. For the job at hand it's been good as the breeze is steady and even though it's warm the breeze keeps me cooler. We've got some rain coming and lower temps but Memorial day weekend is supposed to be nice and in the 80's!

An absolutely gorgeous day yesterday: sunny and bright and in the 90s! A very nice change from overcast and continual snow.  :)

I got lots of work done on the new garden!

I hope the garden my kids put in does well this year. We had so much trouble last year with the enormous woodchuck who lives under the compost heap. He ate everything. This year they put chicken wire around all the plants except the hot peppers. Now we wait!

I hope so too. I had some. They are incredible diggers! If you have the mind to, dig the chicken wire in about a foot! That helps to keep the veggies safe from underneath. They have great eyesight too! They would see me come to the window inside at about 200 feet and go on alert and run to their holes!
I caught one in my Haveaheart trap a few years ago and let it go a few miles from my house. I watched him swim across a river.

I'll mention that to the gardening staff.  ;)

That's my favorite kind of weather!

Most of my friends out here are big gardeners, too, Dave. I think I'm the only one without a green thumb. I've managed to kill every plant I've gotten. I guess one of the "advantages" of being in an apartment now is that I don't even have the opportunity to try to grow anything.  roll:)

In my first apt. I had lots of plants and they were all on the verge of dying a spindly death. I got disgusted with them and left them alone  and guess what! they all came back to life! I learned my first plant lesson there.

Saturday and Sunday have been gorgeous here. it's been sunny, low 80's with some puffy  afternoon clouds! It's nice after a tough winter like we had this year. Enjoy it! Especially because in 2 weeks the days start getting shorter! Hah!
