How do I get tickets? I've never ordered tickets before. I want to get the best tickets so I'm sure that I'm going to have to get them as soon as they are on sale. Is their a website that I can call to buy the tickets?

Ticketmaster.com is where most people buy tickets for shows.
My advice is sign up there today so you can get the tickets faster.

Hey all!
Well I splurged on this one! I went to fan asylum's site and purchased the VIP package for November 22nd and 23rd concerts in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand!
I get tickets for both concerts center stage within the first 5 rows (will be random drawing for who gets what.)
The package is a little pricey but this will be my first paul concert(s) so it's worth it to me! Plus I get a week in vegas at thanksgiving!
Holly
-
Sweet deal Holly. I struck out with ticketmaster (I aint sitting behind the stage), but i'm dealing with somebody right now for four tickets.
-
ohh good luck with your tickets!
I know those that have been registered on Pauls official website got presale options and I was one of those, I could have gotten row 7 seats center for Minneapolis, MN, but had already booked my vegas trip so decided to pass.
not sure if your registered on pauls site, but might want to look over there cause everyone is giving all kinds of ideas and some are actually sharing their pre-sale codes so others can get some tickets that haven't registered!
Let me know how it turns out for you, I will keep my fingers crossed!
-
Well, I got my four tickets and it wasnt as bad as I thought (550 bones), but you can imagine where the seats are. I should have pulled the trigger on a deal earlier for better seats, but I wasnt sure if I could have gotten the four side by side. Anyways, its worth it to take the brats. Once in a life time thing for them.

That is going to be something they'll never forget. :)
-
I'm trying to buy two tickets from ticket master but for some reason it won't let me. Does someone know the reason why?
-
I got tickets! I got them yesterday. I got really good seats for $250. The only bad part about this is that I got four tickets, Meaning I'm going, my cousin, my brother and his b****y girlfriend. Yesterday It took me like three hours to decide who I was going to take, my brother or my cousin. So for about three hours I was asking my brother and my cousin who wanted to go since I couldn't buy three tickets, only 2 or four tickets. I didn't want to leave one of them out. So I asked my brother if his girlfriend wanted to come so that I can get 4 tickets and all of us can go. I thought since I too am friends with his girlfriend that all four of us would have a blast. But I was a little nervous because of the fact that she can be VERY b****y. So I asked my brother to see if she would go, he said that she might not go since Paul is her least favorite beatle. So after about an hour he managed to convince her to go. So I went ahead and bought four tickets. I could tell that my brother was a little nervous and upset about buying the tickets. Then this morning when we woke up to go to the gym I asked him what was wrong, he said that he wasn't sure if it was a good idea to bring her. He said that because it is most likely that she will complain endlessly about everything when we are their. So after the gym we went home and he was getting ready for work and he took a shower. After he got out of the shower he told me that she didn't want to go now. Now me and him are so mad. We have an extra ticket that we don't know what we are going to do with. It's possible that she will change her mind since they were fighting. But the concert is six months from now. So who knows how many times she is going to keep changing her mind just to use it as blackmail against my brother. So we decided we are just going to take the ticket and sell it. My brothers girlfriend is such a party pooper. :p
-
I'm being stupid to ask [i'm guessing it's an obvious answer. ^_~] -- is it worth it to see Paul live? I'm trying to get a vehicle to get my parents to, erm, shell out as it were. =D </semi-non-sequetur post>
EDIT: Tickets go on sale for the venue i'm trying to go to TOMORROW. x.x;;;;;;
-
Is he worth seeing????? WHA???
Anyway, they go on sale here tomorrow, and I'm freaking out. I know I'm gonna get crappy seats and it's gonna be too expensive. But I MUST go!! I passed on the Eagles tickets for this.
-
He charges far too much to be honest...........he's only one man, and his show doesn't have any amazing visual elements (like Pink Floyd or U2).........and to be honest, he isn't THAT great of a performer.........kind of like Bob Dylan, people go because they love the songs themselves, rather than because the person on stage is electric..........
But wow, those ticket prices are shocking. But even more shocking are all the instant sellouts.
-

Sorry Rowdy, but I have to throw out the bullsh*t flag on that! Yes, all tickets to all shows are too much, but so it goes. Amazing visual elements? If you need visual elements, go to the movies. Music is what entertains at concerts. Not that great of a performer? He doesnt do bad for a 60 year old man that plays a constant show for three hours every other night. I think he is very entertaining and energetic.
Have you even ever gone to one of his shows to make these comments? I've taken a few friends to his shows that werent McCartney fans and they all were blown away afterwards.
-
I have never been to a Macca show, I'm basing it on all of the live performances I've seen elsewhere........I have no problem with concerts without any extra visual effects (Pearl Jam, for example).......but Macca doesn't really seem to have anything extraordinay yet he still charges outrageous prices.....
Oh, I'm sure the pessimist in me would be smiling his little arse off after the show..... :P but I just can't get over the price of it all.
-
Macca did have a cool stage set up in his last tour with all those big screens all over the stage and lights, plus the fireworks for Live and Let Die
-
The lasers and revolving piano were cool in 91' too.

Amen. It has nothing to do with the $$ of the tickets. You will be in the same room as Macca, and the show is just an adrenalin rush. The money has nothing to do with it, its SEEING PAUL for Crissakes, and his shows are awesome. I guarantee you that if you go, you won't even think of the money. Its an energy that I can't explain, the energy at the venue, the emotions, etc. Its not an expense, its an experience that you will carry with you for the rest of your life. The show here in Milwaukee is already sold out. Tickets went on sale while I was at work and seeing as how they monitor phone calls/Internet use, I didn't get a ticket, but even if I have to pay some exorbitant price through a ticket broker, I won't think twice. I'm banking on the fact that he has a few days between here and St. Paul and may (hopefully) add a 2nd show.
-
what are the tickets suppose to look like? Are they printed on a paper or are they tickets(for example plane tickets)?
-
For me they just sent me the ticket with Adobe Reader, and I just printed it out.
-
Paul needs to charge outrageous prices because he's just barely making it. The poor guy's albums don't sell the way they used to- and he's got a new wife to support. Heather's not cheap. Plus he'll be retired soon and he needs to save for all the years he lives after he's not working. Who knows if those Beatles royalties will keep coming. Just because they've sold millions and millions every year doesn't mean people might not suddenly stop buying Beatle albums. What will he do then?
He can't have much more than a billion,a billion, two hundred million dollars saved up. With the gas prices what they are,he can barely survive. Thank God the shows are selling out.
-
^ He'll be OK. He gets a bus pass and half price tickets to the movies on Mondays when he's 65.
-
Plus, a Billion $$ just doesn't go as far as it used to.

LOL! You scared me there for a minute!! Very funny.

My paltry bid of $500.00 on Ebay for some unobstructed seats in the Big Pickle (Milwaukee) are now up to $700 with one hour to go. That's nothing compared to what they want other places, but out of my league. I'll go one way or the other.
-
God that's amazing. Good seats go for up to 2.000 here. I mean come on! Hey wait a minute...maybe I should sell my seats!
-
That's because the tickets just went on sale...................prices go way down the closer you get to the actual concert dates...............eBay bids will be through the roof right now because people are so worried about going...........I'd wait if I were you....

That's excellent advice. Very true. Plus there's 4 more months until the tour starts.
-
I've seen Paul in concert twice at the Vet in Philly. The tickets were in the $200-$250 range and it was definitely worth it. They were two of the best concerts I've ever seen. I don't know if he'll do it this time or not,but before one of the concerts,he did an hour long sound check that was incredible. He played all old 50's songs. He didn't do any of them in the show. And they sounded great. It was like a bonus concert. So go early if you can in case he does something like that again.
-
I cannot believe that Paul's Tampa concert is sold out.

I am well aware that Paul's concerts sell out, thank you.
