Title: Local LA News Crew Interviewing Groucho and JackBenny before Hollywood Bowl Show
Post by: Hypnotised on June 25, 2015, 07:50:21 PM
Has anyone ever seen a clip of a local LA news crew interviewing various celebrities as they arrived at the Beatles Hollywood Bowl show, including Groucho Marx and Jack Benny, to name a few. I remember Groucho saying that "the Beatles were pretty great", and that he was also "here for the free booze". Has anyone seen it, or know where on earth I can get it? My good buddy Dave Meile in Lincoln, Nebraska, who was a HUGE Beatles fan, had it on BETA or VHS years ago. Dave passed away a couple years ago, and all his stuff was given away to all his friends back home. I moved from Lincoln many years ago. I've SEEN the clip, but not since then.
Thanks!

Here you go: http://youtu.be/Q654GVRHBT4 (http://youtu.be/Q654GVRHBT4)

But according to the comments on YouTube this was outside of a Bel Air mansion where the Beatles made an appearance at a fundraiser. I've got pictures and more info on that. I can look for them here in a bit.
