As a longtime Beatles fan, it’s been hard to keep track of the different versions of The Beatles’ first single, “Love Me Do”– specifically, which released versions of “Love Me Do” did Ringo play drums on and which he did not.

If there is a cultural axis to the earth, then it certainly shifted on October 5th, 1962. With our 50 years of reference, it's hard to overstate the impact that both James Bond and The Beatles had on history. Amazingly, the first 007 movie and the first Beatles record came out on the same day.

Howard Stern rips George Martin for taking credit for Beatles' success

Howard Stern says George Martin was no "fifth Beatle". Stern ripped into the music producer during Wednesday morning's satellite radio broadcast, saying that he had recently watched a documentary featuring Martin and felt he was "embellishing" his contributions to The Beatles and taking "too much credit" for the band's success.
