Title: Hello there/A Hard Day's Night
Post by: ledzepfilm on October 20, 2012, 03:28:57 PM
Hello everyone! It's great to be here. :)

First of all, the reason why I'm not posting in "Different conversations" is because I have something to share regarding a Beatles video related project.

Second of all, I'm ledzepfilm. If any of you are on Led Zeppelin's official forum, you may know me. For people who are not, I run a youtube channel called "LedZepfilm" (youtube.com/user/ledzepfilm). Creative, right? I used to post LZ videos and audio frequently until I ran out of things to upload. Now, I've gotten into what is the greatest band of the 60's and possibly all time. I'm not new to the Beatles, just discovering more songs.

Third of all, the project I was talking about earlier.

I'm starting a project called "A Hard Day's Night - Live at Shea Stadium", another bootleg of the famous Beatles Shea Stadium concert.

It's very different from the thousands of versions found on bootleg, because this one is unique from the others. Unlike most versions, this one will have the original audio from the feed recorded at the show unlike some boots. This is because in 1966, the Beatles rerecorded several of the songs and instrument tracks to be used in a documentary on the show released in 1966. The whole audio track has been deleted and has been overdubbed with the correct audio. Also, the project will have matrixed video, taken from bootlegs, Anthology, and the documentary on Shea, to have a more complete video track. Many of the songs have clips from other parts from the show of George using the wrong guitar, Ringo using the wrong cymbal, etc. Most of these edits will be put into their places, but some unfortunutely will not.

To give all of the forum a good idea of what this is going to be about, here is a preview of "Help!" Please note that it's not perfect as it's just a draft of what it's going to be.

A Hard Day's Night - Live At Shea Stadium preview (http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xudwy4)

It's not that popular yet, and I've posted it on the Led Zeppelin forum as well, so I'm trying to get a good following on this project. As soon as it's done I'll upload it to dailymotion. I've tried to upload this video to youtube, but it gets blocked worldwide.

Comments/Constructive critizism is definitely welcome.

If this needs to be moved to the "Different Conversations" forum, mods please do that.

Interesting.

Maybe you can explain a bit more why there are blank bits in the video. Will the whole thing eventually be there?

Oh, by the way, it seems a bit confusing to call this A Hard Day's Night.

Why not call it something else? Would you like some suggestions?

Thanks for the comments, zipp!

1) The blank bits in the video represent places with no footage. I may add pictures or something here, I don't know.
2) I couldn't think of anything else, lol. Suggestions are welcome.

Ok. Well I think for the blanks you should add something even if it's only crowd reaction or maybe some aerial shots of the stadium.

As for the title, here's a few to think about :

1.Loved Here In America.

2.From The Other Side Of The Earth.

3.Beatles '65 : The Real Shea.

The only thing with crowd reaction is that it happens during songs and it wouldn't be accurate that way. Aerial shots may work, but I have one of the stadium zooming out at the end.

OK. Well maybe a freeze shot would be better than a blank screen.

in the black spots, still photos with information you want to convey like size of crowd, number of fainting girls, etc.

pictures of tickets from Shea
