Does anyone know of the existance of a Spanish version of "The Beatles Again" / "Hey Jude" Album where Hey Jude itself was extended to 10 mins +?
The Ballad of John and Yoko was removed from the Spanish Album and I've heard that Hey Jude was lengthened to cover.
Does anyone know if this is true? I have googled EVERYWHERE! :D
Thanks
Mark

It would be silly. Rather than "lengthening" Hey Jude (how?), if the Spanish folk really felt the need to compensate their listeners wouldn't it have been far easier to bang another track on instead? I've read at least one mention of the lost Ballad on Spanish releases, but no mention of the Monster Hey Jude.

Welcome to the forums, baron ... hope you'll enjoy them! :)
Sorry if I'm late answering you ...
I've got that album in cassette form and it's true that The Ballad of John and Yoko was removed from the spanish edition but Hey Jude was NOT lengthened in any way ... it lasts 7'06''.

I also have got that album in cassette form and can confirm what raxo has said...

Ballad Of John And Yoko was probably removed for the "Christ..." bit.

I read that it was because of the "Gibralta near Spain" bit. Spain considers Gibralta part of Spain, not near by.
