If I was a Britney fan I'd pobably say something like:
"This is all a bit rich coming from the band that only played twenty minute gigs, started the whole ripping-off-fans-with-dodgy-merchandising thing, whose record company practicly invented the word hype, and when their drummer got sick just found someone (anyone) else and left him behind. Very rock and roll. And don't get me started on the suits and bowing."

All of the talented artists just walked on stage and played. Its the ones with zilcho talent that need 500 costume changes, dancers, and eyewash to keep the audience distracted because the f***ing suck. The Beatles just came on and did their set. Sinatra would just walk out of the wings with no introduction and sang for an hour. They were the center of attention, captivated their audiences with their presence and talent.
