It's been a little while since I've watched this but I remember that John was kind of giving Bob that look you give to drunk (or stoned) people when you're sober. A slightly amused but patronizing look. From reading the transcript i guess I can see why!

Not sure either of them come out that good. John has never seemed to me to be relaxed in front of a camera anyway (unlike Ringo or George) and it seems being filmed with his idol- and the man 
he had tried to emulate (sp) for years - seems extra edgy.
Who can blame him - Dylan comes across like a prat, and tops off his attempted coolness with a very uncool vomit in the back of a London cab.
Been there done that.
But they is what they is. Emperors clothes and all that.
