The "3 E.P.'s" is a very good album...but my favorite would be "Heroes To Zeros." It is I think their "Abbey Road."  ;)

Some of it is absolutely bizzarre, but trhey have some GREAT music.  I think The Three Ep's is my favorite, though The Beta Band and Heroes to Zeroes are also exzellent

yeah their is a very similar quality to them.  I

 bought the 3 ep's after seeing High Fidelity, cos the refrain on Dry the Rain is so catchy.  But their much more than that really

Chalk it up to different tastes, but I have that song on the 'Hi Fidelity' soundtrack and its as boring as whale s*it. Its muzak. My opinion, but its only based on that one song.

The High Fidelity soundtrack also introduced me to Stereolab, Velvet Underground, Belle and Sebastian, Smog, and Love..
