The cutest thing I EVER seen!
Can someone translate this?
-
Not a perfect translation for sure, but this is it:
Hallo, dear freinds of BRAVO. This is George Harrison speaking. All of the Beatles were glad you elected us most popular beat group. We're very proud of our "BRAVO OTTO" and of having so many friends in Germany, expecially as we have so many nice memories of good old Germany. John, Paul and Ringo asked me to tell you this on their behalf: Thank you very very much. Thanks. All the best to our fans and all BRAVO readers in particular. Yous George Harrison.
I have to add that his German is really good ! Good pronunciation.
Thanks for sharing.

My computer wouldn't load it, so I'll have to check it out later. Is it him really speaking it though?

Well, the he doesn't pronouce it perfect or something, but there's no moment when I have trouble understanding what he says, and you get to hear much much worse when it comes to non-native speakers practising German ;)

Are you kidding me? A time when German is actually useful to me and my sound card just blew out on my computer last week! o.o
I might just die if I don't find some way to hear this. ...To the library!!

Sehr gut herr Harrison!George's Deutsch ist nicht so gut aber gut genug! Very good Mr. Harrison. George's German is not so good, but good enough! And that Liverpool accent shines through!

I like the tune he starts to sing, it would be great if he (or the Beatles) had recorded it.
From far, it kind of resembles to style in which Honey Pie was done:
Am sonntag will mein süßer mit mir segeln gehn

Great stuff. It's interesting what ideas people have, that is, what their songs do do them!
