Liverpool celebrates opening of theater named in honor of Brian Epstein
Members of the Liverpool arts and media world and friends of Brian Epstein gathered last night to celebrate the re-opening of a new Liverpool theater named the former Beatles manager.The Epstein, formerly known as the Neptune, has recently undergone a £1.2m ($3.396,978 USD) refurbishment of the foyer, bar and 380 seat auditorium.

Around Town: The Beatles' 'Yellow Submarine' gets a makeover
The 1968 animated Beatles musical "Yellow Submarine" has just been restored frame by frame and will screen Friday evening and Sunday afternoon at the American Cinematheque's Aero Theatre. The Beatles introduced the tune "All Together Now" in the movie that was penned by a team that included "Love Story" author Erich Segal.

'Yellow Submarine' Blu-ray Moved to June
Submerge yourself with The Beatles on... June 5.
'Yellow Submarine' was originally scheduled for an end of May release, but it has since been moved back a week to June 5, 2012.
