Paul McCartney reveals 'Ram' album was sigh of relief after Beatles breakup

The documentary on Paul McCartney's "Ram" album from the upcoming deluxe version reissue reveals the disc was a big change from the tense atmosphere surrounding the Beatles breakup. In an excerpt of "Ramming" released in advance of the May reissue, McCartney says the album came during a "horrendous" period. "It was like being in quicksand." he says in the video. But it also meant a change for him and wife Linda McCartney. "The lightbulb went off and we could just run away and go to Scotland (to their farm) where we knew we loved it and go and hang out."
