Beatles-themed eatery owner pleased with new location

EDWARDSVILLE - The popular, Beatles-themed Sgt. Pepper's Cafe may not have moved "Across the Universe," but it has moved across Edwardsville."I had the opportunity to buy this building," restaurant owner Tarek Samara said. "At the old location, I was renting, plus I was surrounded by other restaurants and businesses and I felt cluttered with everyone else. I think we fit better in a downtown atmosphere."Sgt. Pepper's moved on Dec. 13 from its former location at 1027 Century Drive to its new home at 218 North Main St., close to the Wildey Theater.
