I think that the rutles are funny, but no one else seems to ever say anything about them.

I got the DVD a few weeks ago, and I didn't think it was really funny. It's just that Beatles story with some changes but hardly any good jokes.

Gotta love Dirk, Stig, Barry, and Nasty. I heard they are coming out with a new one called "Can't Buy Me Lunch".

Haven't seen it since it was released - but I remember the songs being really good, especially Ouch! (Help!).
No, it wasn't side-splitting funny, but I sure enjoyed it.

Yeah theres supposed to be a sequel.  Last I heard the release date was tentatively set in March (so soon)  Lunch is definitely in the title, but I thought it was "All You Need is Lunch"  or maybe I'm just thinking of that cos it was on their version of MMT album cover.  WHat was the name of that in the movie, the camera shows that album cover?

I haven't seen The Rultes 2 yet but I expect it's funny but All You Need Is Cash is excellent.

It gets funnier with every watch.  I thought it was brilliant, they covered every aspect of the Fabs career perfectly, and Neil Innes did a great job with the music.

The Rutles was a VERY accurate and intelligent spoof of The Beatles by Eric Idle (of Monty Python) and Neil Innes (Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band).
