Ringo Starr's Yellow Sub... er, white yacht surfaces in Astoria
ASTORIA, Ore. - Celebrity watchers in the scenic coastal Oregon town of Astoria should keep their cameraphones and HD camcorders at the ready after a large yacht reportedly owned by a certain very famous Beatle dropped anchor Tuesday in the waters of the Columbia River.Sources at the Daily Astorian tell KATU News that the Coast Guard has confirmed that the boat belongs to Beatles drummer Ringo Starr, but long-lens photos by Columbian paparazzi/photographers of the big white boat have not turned up any images of the elusive pop icon.The yacht is named Lady M and is about 160 feet long. It has been associated with Ringo Starr in the past while other reports of Ringo being on board have proven false or were denied by others on the boat who had British accents.
