Ha! Another useless poll! I really like those the best. What album has the best artwork in your opinion? Multiple choice is possible!
-
I voted for Revolver and it told me to go back and select a valid choice.
I must of gotten it wrong.

I got the same response when I voted for Rubber Soul.
I've always like that cover best. It was particularly nice hearing Paul tell how it all came about in Anthology.
-
I guess the polls are still not working properly... :(
-
Yeah I tried voting for Peppers but didnt work
-
Artwork for with the beatles always get's me for some reason, i love it..and yeah it didnt count my vote.
-
I voted for Abbey Road, Revolver, Sgt. Pepper, White Album, Beatles For Sale & With The Beatles since it was multiple choice & doesn't work for some reason.
-
I voted for White Album ;D ;D ;D ;D
Actually the voting doesnt work for me. :-/
-
Rubber Soul.
Voting didn't work though.
-
Revolver - a phenomenal achievement.
-
SGT PEPPER IS VOTED NATION'S FAVOURITE ALBUM COVER
The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper
-
White Album - significant

White Album - significant
But very white!
Still, if you put it in a frame it goes with anything ;D

With the beatles

I thought there was more than the cover ;)

Revolver just has that actual drawing effect so it gets my vote! Even though I think Abbey Road and With the Beatles are two very creative images!
-
My vote's for Revolver. Second is Rubber Soul. Given that the two albums could be volume one and volume two anyway, it's no big surprise.
You really need the LP to appreciate the cover - you could look at it every day for a month, go away and come back in a year and see something in the collage that you never saw before. It's amazing.
I also like the job Klaus did on the three Anthology covers and the subsequent "box" packaging. That was very cool also. 8)
(Oh and by the way, the voting worked for me)
-
I can't believe I'm still the only voter for Beatles For Sale. It's a classic bit of Robert Freeman photography Clearly portraying the downbeat mood of the album. Great stuff, and their first gatefold!

How!!! You can count me in!!! ;D
The first really "artwork", not just a pic for the frontcover ...
-
I feel your pain, BlueMeanie! Yet they had many good album covers, just as they had many good albums. Drat this slavish adherence to quality! But it's good fun to pick one. (I picked Rubber Soul; just love the colors and the shapes of their faces.)
-
I tried to make my multiple choice and I did it - so my voice(s) for Abbey Road, Sgt. Pep & Let It Be.
I just like the composition and the sunshine feeling I get when looking at the AR cover (not to mention the funny story with Paul walking barefoot and eyes closed that made so many people feed theit "Paul is dead" theory). Sgt. Pep is just a masterpiece of artwork and was an incontestable phenomenon when it appeared at that time.
-
Abbey Road is my faovrite album and I think that the artwork was a novelty with no title and the back cover is cool as well. I vote for that.
-
I really love the Sgt Pepper and Revolver covers.
-
To be honest, they're all good. Which is saying something for a lot of 60's covers.
Theen again, Let It Be is pretty ordinary.
-
The White Album. Seriously, it's so avant-garde and when taken in context of it's impact, it was such an out there idea for a cover.

Coming after something like Sgt. Pepper. The album with the fanciest cover and longest title, to The Beatles, with a plain white cover. Brilliant idea.
-
I chose Rubber Soul cause i love the whole look of it.. it's just like "BANG" right there with the stretched faces and the colours it seems to set the stage for the album
-
I voted for Sgt. Pepper's and Revolver. My favorite Beatle shirt I own is my white Revolver one, because the artwork just makes it a unique shirt. Sgt. Pepper is just genius, and very memorable.
-
i voted revolver, sgt pepper came a close second
-
I vote Sgt Pepper! It's a cover i can never forget & i've been trying
to memorise all the people on the cover!
-
I've always liked the cover of With The Beatles. It's just a really good picture of them.
-
I think that "A hard day`s night" and "Revolver". But every album of Betles has somethink spesial, i`ve never seen something so original...
-
That's a good question..... ;D personally I'd pick Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Heart's Club Band because it had a lot going on, and a lot of symbolism as well.
-
I voted The White Album Simpley Perfect .

-
I concur.
-
Sgt. Pepper for sure.
-
I definitely don't think sgt. pep. is the best....
i voted love... just because when I see that cover it gives me goosebumps...
maybe b/c it is like the legend reborn...there technically not even on the cover but even there shadows are enough to seel the deal...
i love it....

The Anthology cover's have great artwork by Klaus Voorman! but of course
they are not proper albums.
-
i think they should count... i totally agree....
it is like all beatle history squoshed into one little cover....

Sorry for being obvious but it is Sgt Peppers, etc for me.
-
'Revolver' for me. It was so fascinating to behold at the time, and still is. The same could be said for '...Pepper's...', of course, but I'm just personally partial to illustration over photos.
:)
-
5. Mike Oldfield
-
'With The Beatles' got my vote. Great Pic! :)
-
Love Revolver's cover and even have a fondness for Help. Yet, the obvious choice for me is Sgt Pepper.
-
The Beatles had a lot of good album covers, but all in all, I'd have to say Sgt Peppers. I have a big poster of it on my wall, and almost every time I study it, I see a new face that I hadn't remembered seeing before. By far one of the most detailed and thought-out covers I've ever seen.
Honorable mentions: Yesterday & Today (both covers), Revolver, The White Album, Abbey Road, Love
-
I really like the cover of Sgt.Pepper of course, Rubber Soul 'cause I think it's a great pic of them and I like the whole accidental story behind it, and I like Abbey Road and Hard Day's Night.
As unbelievable as it sounds, the 2nd cousin or something of a friend of my parents helped design the cover for Sgt.Pepper!! :o
-
I voted for Rubber Soul and With The Beatles
Love the photography in With The Beatles and Rubber Soul has very nice images too, like the stretchy cover.
-
This is probably an eccentric opinion, but I like A Hard Day's Night best. It's very straightforward, but it implies that the Beatles have arrived and are here to stay.

^ I voted for "Sgt Pepper's Lonely Etcetera"(?) ;D but I enjoy the "AHDN" cover too. I just love its humor.

I voted for Rubber Soul too. It's always been my favorite and deserves another look-see:
